Am I gonna see you in 2 days!?

Well, I know some of you are reading this in a different part of the country or a different part of the world. But if you're here in town, we're all getting together for a smaller, very special kind of concert on Friday night in a great concert venue on the Upper West Side - H.I. New York Performance Hall. I think you'll probably be glad you showed up for this one. It's gotta be a feel-good night. And... you can reserve seats today right here at the website! (Tell you more about that in a minute.)

First... are you diggin' this weather. Startin' to feel like Spring is gonna get here soon.

It actually is. Spring '09 comes to town this Friday. Also opening this Friday is the new film that is a direct rip-off of the latest Clint Eastwood flick.

This one is about another man who is driven by indescribable, deep-seeded, unbridled anger... but in this film, the hero is always totally WRONG about everything.

About the concert this Friday night!

I'm gonna share a stage Friday night with a guy who's been singing with me in Central Park since just around 9-11. He's leaving NYC and heading back to his original home state of Maryland. But he's been a part of many of the "Year End" concerts, as well as becoming a regular down in The Village for the "Sunset on the Hudson" concert series.

He's my longtime backup vocalist and friend David Marcus in a kind of a farewell performance. We're gonna get together at H.I. New York Performance Hall and sing every damned song we can think of. It's actually a very cool little venue for this kinda thing! It's a very simple, little concert that will feel a whole lot like our afternoons on "The Hill" in Central Park.

GONNA BE A FUN NIGHT because more than half of the songs Dave and I sing together are cover songs that you guys all sing along with. So, this is gonna be might to really let it rip, just like we do in Central Park in the summer.

H.I.N.Y. only has 150 seats as compares to the 450 at Merkin Concert Hall. So, you might wanna grab tickets today or this weekend. All you do is hit the banner up there and reserve as many seats as you need. Your name will automatically be placed on the "Guest List" at the door that night. (Or just show up with $15 that night. ALL seats are the same price!)
