We've got a concert comin' up soon here in New York City! Done with the politics! New bunch in D.C. Hoping for the best. We'll see!

FIRST - welcome to everyone reading this in a different part of the world. Here in The Sates... it's Super Bowl Sunday.

Like I said yesterday, I've got a feeling Pittsburgh is gonna win today. But, I might rather like to see the NFC's Cardinals take it. But, truly...

I really couldn't care less this year.

I have no plans for a Super Bowl Party. I'm thinkin' about maybe heading over to my friend and colleague Christine Lavin's apartment after I get a little work done this morning. I don't know. (Musicians all know it is the kiss-of-death to book a gig on this day of the year. So, everybody's got the night off!) She's having a little gathering of all her non-giggin' musician friends!

Me?

Being "That Guitar Man from Central Park", a sing-songwriter among other things, I consider every day of my life a vacation-day and every day a work-day. Pretty cool. Pretty lucky.

But, listen... the concert tickets went on sale 2 days ago.

I'll give you guys an update later this week to let you know how fast they're selling. I mean, there isn't a bad seat in the venue. But, this gig is gonna be one of the first included in a movie that's being shot this year about what I've been doing with all of you at "The Hill" for the past 18 years. The Emmy Award winning filmmaker, Dean Love, is gonna start by shooting this indoor concert before we all head back out to the park this Spring. So, call a few friends and make plans to join us on Thursday night, February 26th for...

I guess you guys saw that monument that was erected in the town of Tikrit, Iraq.

But, did you know that in the new FREE Iraq, in a less publicized story, the central government in Baghdad forced the people of Tikrit to take it down this weekend. (So much for Freedom, I guess.) Who's kiddin' who?
