Welcome to everyone reading this in a different part of the country or a different part of the world. Here in New York City, we're gearing up for another concert... another night of hangin' out together in a great concert venue, sharing a lot of music and some laughs. It's "The Return to Merkin Hall". (More about that gig and a link to order tickets a little further down the page.)
But, okay.... woke up this morning it was 15 degrees here in Manhattan.
A far, far cry from the warm afternoons we get to share every year in Central Park.

But, me?
Y'know how I always say I'm such a lucky man, because I get to do what I love with my Life and my work? Well, on Saturday morning I'm gonna be flying to Mexico for a week to put a guitar on my shoulder in the warm Mexican Sun, to play my songs for a whole bunch of beautiful people in Ixtapa, Zihuatanejo.

As Napolean Dynamite would say... "Lucky!?"
I wish I could take all "The People on the Hill" with me. But, I can't.
SO....
Start calloing your friends and let;'s plan to hang together at "The Return to Merkin Hall".
I just got a confirmation email from a wonderful singer you've all heard at my gigs before, Janet Kirker. She's gonna join me and the boys on stage on February, 26th. What a kick we're gonna have!

And Hey!
You wanna be in a movie!? Seriously. If you come and hangout with me all next summer in Central Park, you're probably gonna be a part of a film that's being made this year about... um... about... uh...
me.
And, about what I've been doing with all of you at "The Hill" for the past 18 years. But the filmmaker, Dean Love, is gonna start by shooting the indoor things we do to break up the winter before we head back out to the park. So, call a few friends and make plans to join us on Thursday night, February 26th for...
"The Return to Merkin Hall"
I think in the next few days I'll be asking you guys to email me with song suggestions for this concert. Y'know, it's a nice problem to have.... having too many songs that people wanna hear in one night. So, hit the contact button and let me know your favorites, okay? (I'm not sure I know of another artist who's ever done that! Hmmmm. Kinda cool. Wouldn't it be great if you could email James Taylor or Bruce Springsteen and ask them to play certain songs!?)

Anyway... call those friends! Make it a field trip! GRAB THOSE SEATS!
Click on this banner to order your seats right now!

Or call the box office directly. They're open until 7pm tonight.

Okay... outta here.
See you at the concert.
Thanks for everything.
