Yesterday, I headed out to Brooklyn to run a few songs with George Wurzbach. He's gonna be joining me on stage again in just 4 days at the "Return to Merkin Hall".

This is gonna be great! We had a good time kickin' around a rough sketch of some of the songs we might sing for you guys in that great music venue.

Today, we're gonna be joined for a few hours by drummer Ryan Cavan, fiddle player Chris Tedesco and singers David Marcus and Janet Kirker at Ultrasound Studios in Manhattan. (I booked an extra hour of studio time so that we can... y'know... laugh.)

Then, in a just a few days... I want ALL of us to be joined in Merkin Concert Hall by all of the same faces I see all summer at "The Hill" in Central Park...

...and all the faces we saw at "The Something'th Annual Year End Concert"

I'm pretty sure we're gonna have some surprises at this gig. (We always do.) But, it's a fact that if you show up at this gig you're gonna be a part of a movie project.

For real.

Trust me, you don't wanna miss this one. Seriously. Emmy Award-winning filmmaker, Dean Love is gonna shoot this concert to include in a film he's making for theatrical release about.... um... uh.... me and what I've been ding for the last 17 years in Central Park.

Kinda cool.

Okay listen, I gotta run downtown to run some songs with the kids.

See you back here tomorrow

See you Thursday night.

But... GRAB THOSE TICKETS SOON!

Thanks for everything.

A note from filmmaker Dean Love...

As you may know I am producing a documentary about "That Guitar Man from Central Park". I would like to ask all David's fans out there to write me and tell me any stories you may have about David and his playing in Central Park and how it has affected you or what it has meant to you. I've already heard some great stories, but I know there are more that I haven't heard. So if you got a story to tell about David and his music, please briefly write it out and send it to stories@thatguitarman.com . I will be contacting people from the stories submitted to interview them for possible inclusion in the film. Thank you and I look forward to seeing everyone on the hill this summer.
