Hey guys...

Welcome to the website.

We're getting snow here in New York City this morning. These days I'm living right across the street from my office.... or, um... my venue.... um... these days I live right across the street from where I do-what-I-do every summer in Central Park.

When I'm standing by the Lake and I'm lookin' out at "The Hill" and I see all your faces, I truly am the luckiest man alive.

I am the LEAST religious man you might ever meet, but y'know? When I'm singin' in Central Park and I'm lookin' at the "People on the Hill", DAMN! If I could paint the face of God.... that's it.

Of course...

"The Hill" look s a little bit different this time of year.

And, that's why we move the concerts indoors. If you were at "The Something'th Annual Year End Concert" you know what a kick I had on stage with "the guys"! Well, they all told me they can't wait to come back together and do it again.

I'll be joined on stage again by George Wurzbach, David Marcus,
Ryan Cavan and Chris Tedesco.

I'm waiting... right now I'm waiting for the word from the Merkin Hall box office when the tickets are gonna go on sale.

So, in the meantime.... everybody... think of some of your friends who would really dig this kinda good time and call them. Make it a night! This gig is gonna be on a Thursday night! So, a lot of people who go out of town on weekends skiing and whatnot are gonna be able to make this one. Don't get sold out! Start making plans, make those phone calls, send those emails and get ready for when the tickets go on sale.

Soon.

(Shhhhh. Maybe later today!!!!!)

Today, I'm gonna email a few MP3s to the guys - songs I'm thinkin' about doing at the gig in 4 weeks.

This past Monday night. I debuted a brand new song at a songwriter's circle in The Village... a song called "Here Today". Several people approached me after the gig to tell me it really, genuinely touch them deeply. So, I promised one of them that I'd post it here on the site today.

Click on this photo sent in to the website by Elodie Pauwels to download the song.

Here Today

Okay...

Hope I see you at "The Return to Merkin Hall"

Gonna be great! I'm already lookin' forward to it.

Okay... see you back here tomorrow.

Maybe later today with the ticket announcement!

Thanks for everything.

A note from filmmaker Dean Love...

As you may know I am producing a documentary about "That Guitar Man from Central Park". I would like to ask all David's fans out there to write me and tell me any stories you may have about David and his playing in Central Park and how it has affected you or what it has meant to you. I've already heard some great stories, but I know there are more that I haven't heard. So if you got a story to tell about David and his music, please briefly write it out and send it to stories@thatguitarman.com . I will be contacting people from the stories submitted to interview them for possible inclusion in the film. Thank you and I look forward to seeing everyone on the hill this summer.
