Call some friends!

Make it a night! Break up the damned winter!

If you guys were at "The Something'th Annual Year End Concert" you know what a kick it is to share a stage and an entire venue with the guys I'm gonna have on stage with me again! George Wurzbach, Ryan Cavan, David Marcus and Chris Tedesco are all psyched to get back to Merkin Concert Hall for another night of music and laughs.

Listen, I know a lot of people at past gigs have traveled from as far away as Buffalo, Pennsylvania, Virginia, Maryland and even Germany for these things. But, this one is not on a weekend! It's a Thursday night! So, I'm gonna need all of you New Yawkers, Long Islanders, Jerseyans and... and... (What do you call people from Connecticut?) ...um, Nutmeggers to help us fill that hall with that usual, palpable, great energy this time.

C'mon guys! Help me put some cheeks in the seats. It's gonna be a great time. Bring a few friends!!!

I'll be back with another update tomorrow.

I think in the next few days I'll be asking you guys to email me with song suggestions for this concert. Y'know, it's a nice problem to have.... having too many songs that people wanna hear in one night. So, hit the contact button and let me know your favorites, okay? (I'm not sure I know of another artist who's ever done that! Hmmmm. Kinda cool. Wouldn't it be great if you could email James Taylor or Bruce Springsteen and ask them to play certain songs!?)

Anyway... call those friends! Make it a field trip! GRAB THOSE SEATS!

See you back here tomorrow!

Thanks for everything.

A note from filmmaker Dean Love...

As you may know I am producing a documentary about "That Guitar Man from Central Park". I would like to ask all David's fans out there to write me and tell me any stories you may have about David and his playing in Central Park and how it has affected you or what it has meant to you. I've already heard some great stories, but I know there are more that I haven't heard. So if you got a story to tell about David and his music, please briefly write it out and send it to stories@thatguitarman.com . I will be contacting people from the stories submitted to interview them for possible inclusion in the film. Thank you and I look forward to seeing everyone on the hill this summer.
