Hey guys!

Welcome back to the website on a day that's gonna see some snow here in New York City.

Sorry, but this update is gonna be late today. Check back a little later.

I was in the headphones almost all day yesterday workin' on that new song I was tellin' you about a couple of days ago. (The process of mixing these things takes a lot of time.)

So, for right now I'm, just gonna repeat an update from yesterday.... for anyone who missed it and because.... um... I gotta run right out right now ad do something.

Um.... if you're new around here, take a few minutes to it the ARCHIVE and browse through the site. There are lots of really fun Photoshop images, FREE songs to download, all kindsa stuff.

Stuff like this!

YESTERDAY'S UPDATE

Okay guys!!!

Welcome to the website! Welcome to everyone here in New York City, across the country and different parts of the world.

But, if you're gonna be in town for the next month or so...

TWO THINGS!!!

REALLY IMPORTANT!!!

(Or not.)

First thing... call a few friends and then reserve some seats for "The 8 Year Concert" on Saturday night, January 24th.

The tickets started moving yesterday for some reason. But, there are about 100 left, so go ahead and start making plans for that one. It's gonna be alotta fun and kind of a once in a lifetime thing for me. In celebration of the presidential inauguration... (Oh, who's kidding who!) In celebration of the fact that the most laughably disgraceful, inept, unAmerican and tragic administration in my lifetime is leaving the building I'm gonna retire a whole bunch of songs that I've written over the last 8 years - some of them never to be played again!!!

It's gonna be fun!

Gotta remind everybody, though. The concert we did in December was at Merkin Concert Hall. there are 450 seats in Merkin Hall.

This gig is gonna be at H.I. New York Performance Hall on Amsterdam Ave. It's a more intimate space... and seats 150. (So, you might wanna think about calling some friends and reserving seats soon.)

Okay... have at it! Grab some seats! Here's the banner.

Click on this banner to put your name on the list at the door.

OR...

You can just show up that night with a $20 bill. I'll let you know if it's lookin' like a sell-out as it gets closer, okay?

(Like I said yesterday... wouldn't it be cool if we could all watch the inauguration together at "The Hill".)

Anyway, okay... SECOND THING!!!

HOW ABOUT A RETURN TO MERKIN CONCERT HALL FOR ANOTHER CONCERT IN FEBRUARY!?

Big, big, big question... because it's a big deal to do a gig in a great venue like that. There's alot to it. I'm gonna hafta call the guys (George, Ryan, David, Chris) and get 'em together. And the logistics of nailing down the space have to be taken care of.

So, here's the thing...

Would you guys be up for it!?

THURSDAY NIGHT, FEBRUARY 26TH

If you were at the "Year End Show" - would you show up for this one?

Would you bring a few friends!?

Get to me and let me know, okay? If it feels like you guys are all on board and everything works out... I may be able to make the official announcement at "The 8 Year Concert"

Did I tell you guys... that gig is general admission... first come first serve. The concert starts at 7:30 but the house will open at 7:00. And there are no physical tickets. The PayPal thing puts your name in the list at the door.

Cool?

Okay...

I'm outta here.

I'll be back tomorrow.

PEACE

Thanks for everything.

A note from filmmaker Dean Love...

As you may know I am producing a documentary about "That Guitar Man from Central Park". I would like to ask all David's fans out there to write me and tell me any stories you may have about David and his playing in Central Park and how it has affected you or what it has meant to you. I've already heard some great stories, but I know there are more that I haven't heard. So if you got a story to tell about David and his music, please briefly write it out and send it to stories@thatguitarman.com . I will be contacting people from the stories submitted to interview them for possible inclusion in the film. Thank you and I look forward to seeing everyone on the hill this summer.
