Hey guys.

Welcome to everyone reading this in different parts of the country and different parts of the world.

Sorry for the late update. And.... HA! It's not even gonna be much of an update. I'll be back later. I got a late jump on today and there's an awful lot goin' on today. I'll fill you guys in tomorrow.

All I can say right now is.... next summer at "The Hill" might be really, really cool.

I mean, it's always typically amazing out there with all of you.

But, there are things in the wind, so to speak, that.... well, I'll tell you guys as they develop.

in the meantime, here in New York City we're right on the edge of that weather system that's moving through the Northeast today. (Happens a lot in this little coastal town I live in. We're very often right on the edge of big snow storms because the ocean is so warm.)

So, we might get a good healthy snowfall today, or a lot of ice and slop. Right now... we're getting snow. If you don't live around here I can tell you this... Central Park in the snow might just be the most romantic place on the face of the earth.

I have a feeling that we just might have a white Christmas here in New York City this year. I really do.

Okay I hafta run! But before I get out of here, I think I might just make a few songs available as FREE downloads today. And, I'll be back with a more information about the first concert of 2009. It'll be a gig in which I can retire a set of songs that I'd written n the last 8 years of the worst presidency in American history. Some funny songs. Some pointed songs. But all of them tunes that I hope I will never have to play again!

In the meantime, here are a few tracks for you to download for free.

The Religion Song

Where's the Voice

Tom Cruise Scares Me

Lost on Bleecker Street

Wedding in Danville

Um.... if you're new around here, take a few minutes to it the ARCHIVE and browse through the site. There are lots of really fun Photoshop images, FREE songs to download, all kindsa stuff.

I'm be back later... or tomorrow, with a more complete update. Like I said, got a lot goin' on today.

See you back here in a little bit.

Thanks for everything.

A note from filmmaker Dean Love...

As you may know I am producing a documentary about "That Guitar Man from Central Park". I would like to ask all David's fans out there to write me and tell me any stories you may have about David and his playing in Central Park and how it has affected you or what it has meant to you. I've already heard some great stories, but I know there are more that I haven't heard. So if you got a story to tell about David and his music, please briefly write it out and send it to stories@thatguitarman.com . I will be contacting people from the stories submitted to interview them for possible inclusion in the film. Thank you and I look forward to seeing everyone on the hill this summer.
