Hey, welcome to the website!

Y'know? In yesterday's update, I posted Part I of a little video I did a couple of years ago to celebrate John Lennon's legacy in New York City. So today, I decided to post Part II. (It's further down the page.)

And, I also said that I'd write a little bit about how grateful I am to be surrounded by so many cool people in my life and in my work who... y'know... "get it". So, I think I'm gonna post that in tomorrow's update. (Make sure you come back, okay?)

I'm so looking forward to "The Something-th Annual Year End Concert" in a few days, where a whole bunch of them will be in the same room once again. Every year I look forward to that feeling. But, what I want to say tomorrow... well, let's just say it was inspired by a few extremely negative emails I've received recently from people who just... don't get it. But, that's cool. I'm gonna love the company this Saturday night.

Just like I love the company all summer in Central Park.

I'd like to welcome everyone to the website across the country and in different parts of the world. But here in New York City, the "Year End Concert" is just 4 days away!

TODAY... at this moment, it looks like it might not sell-out completely.... but, it might! It's gonna be close. I'm gonna head down to the theater to talk to Jake and Judy in the box office today. So, you can take your chances just showing up that night and you'll probably get in. OR, you can go ahead and call the box office to get your tickets.

(212) 501-3330

Or, you can just grab them online right now! I'm gonna head down to the box office tomorrow to find out exactly how many seats are left. At last report there were a little less than 150 tickets left. (Remember, there ain't a bad seat in that room. Even the balcony is right on top of the stage.)

Click on this banner to order tickets online.

I've already got the feeling this is gonna turn into one of those special nights...one of those nights when that hall is filled with amazing people and wonderful energy.

Man! I think we're all ready for it! It's gonna feel good.

Oh, and here's another idea!

If you're coming to the concert this Saturday night, get there a little early or plan to stay a few minutes after the show! there's a song that EVERYBODY has been asking me for. It's a song that I'm gonna be doing in the concert called "This Moment". (It's not on any of my CDs yet.)

SO! I made a special edition CD just for the concert.... with "This Moment" and a bunch of other songs. There are even a few songs from the now out-of-print Christmas album. ("Just a Thought for Christmas")

So, bring some extra cash. If you buy any of the other CDs for gifts or for yourself, you can take that special CD for FREE! Or, you can buy that CD for only $10 on it's own.

Cool? (And... ha! The thing about giving CDs is that they're so damned easy to gift wrap!)

Okay... for TODAY!

Here's PART II of John Lennon's birthday celebration in Strawberry Fields, 2007.

I wanted to celebrate a birthday rather than an ugly day of violence.

Hope you enjoyed that.

Okay, I'm outta here. Thanks for everything, you guys.

If you're new around here... I've had a lot of fun with Photoshop during the past election year. Here's an update that contained a SUPER BIG PHOTOSHOP GALLERY!

If you're reading this and you're in town, I hope I see you this Saturday night.

Thanks again.

A note from filmmaker Dean Love...

As you may know I am producing a documentary about "That Guitar Man from Central Park". I would like to ask all David's fans out there to write me and tell me any stories you may have about David and his playing in Central Park and how it has affected you or what it has meant to you. I've already heard some great stories, but I know there are more that I haven't heard. So if you got a story to tell about David and his music, please briefly write it out and send it to stories@thatguitarman.com . I will be contacting people from the stories submitted to interview them for possible inclusion in the film. Thank you and I look forward to seeing everyone on the hill this summer.
