Well, here we go!

Welcome to everyone who's reading this in a different part of the country or a different part of the world. But, today's update is really all about all of you who are here in New York City tonight!

HEAD TO MERKIN CONCERT HALL AT THE KAUFMAN CENTER!

THE SOMETHING'TH ANNUAL YEAR END CONCERT

7:30 tonight at Merkin Concert Hall on West 67th Street between Broadway and Amsterdam Ave.

Tell you what!!!

There are still tickets left and there isn't a bad seat in this house!

If you didn't get your tickets yet, don't bother calling the box office today. THEY'RE NOT OPEN UNTIL AN HOUR BEFORE SHOWTIME!

So, you might as well just come over to the theater and get your tickets before the gig tonight. The concert starts at 7:30

We're gonna have blast! (We always do!)

No politics tonight! (Well, not a lot anyway. Maybe just a feel-good vibe, y'know?)

No.... seriously. Tonight we have a chance to hang out together in the same room and say goodbye to 2008.

I had a really sweet time with all of you in Central Park this year. It was another typically amazing year at "The Hill". So many smiles, so many friends old and new. Really cool.

So, again... if you're reading this and you're in NYC tonight, and you didn't get tickets for the concert in advance - - I checked with the box office before they closed yesterday and they said they're not sold out. AND, they said they were going to release a few really, really good seats that they were holding for house comps. So, if you just show up tonight, chances are you might get some really good seats i9n the orchestra!

Okay... gotta run.

I've got a little thing I gotta do tonight.

BUT IF YOU'RE COMING TO THE GIG!

Bring a little extra money... get there a little early or plan to stay a few minutes after the show! There's a song that EVERYBODY has been asking me for. It's a song that I'm gonna be doing in the concert called "This Moment". (It's not on any of my CDs yet.) SO! I made a special edition CD just for the concert.... with "This Moment" and a bunch of other songs. There are even a few songs from the now out-of-print Christmas album. ("Just a Thought for Christmas")

So, bring some extra cash. If you buy any of the other CDs for gifts or for yourself, you can take that special CD for FREE! Or, you can buy that CD for only $10 on it's own.

Cool? (And... ha! The thing about giving CDs is that they're so damned easy to gift wrap!)

See you there!

Thanks again.

A note from filmmaker Dean Love...

As you may know I am producing a documentary about "That Guitar Man from Central Park". I would like to ask all David's fans out there to write me and tell me any stories you may have about David and his playing in Central Park and how it has affected you or what it has meant to you. I've already heard some great stories, but I know there are more that I haven't heard. So if you got a story to tell about David and his music, please briefly write it out and send it to stories@thatguitarman.com . I will be contacting people from the stories submitted to interview them for possible inclusion in the film. Thank you and I look forward to seeing everyone on the hill this summer.
- Dean
