Hey!!!

"The Something'th Annual Year End Concert" is actually less than 2 weeks away!

(Didja get your tickets yet?)

More about that in a minute!

FIRST!

Welcome to everyone who's stopping in here from different parts of the country and different parts of the world. I'd like to say thanks to everyone who's ever hung out with me even for one afternoon in Central Park.

I say it a lot but I really mean it. After so many years in the park and sharing my music and Life with hundreds of thousands of you guys.... I really am a lucky man.

I know a bunch of you are just getting back into town after a long Thanksgiving Day Weekend. Hope you had a sweet time with family, friends... or just the special people in your life.

In case you missed it, here in New York City we had an unwelcome visitor at the "Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade" over the weekend.

Luckily, she was apprehended by a couple of hot dog vendors and held until the NYPD could get her ass back on a plane to Alaska.

I spent part of my day yesterday deep in my Photoshop addiction, creating a kind of a "Field of Dreams" moment for myself. Reversing time and putting things in a different kind of perspective.

Yeah, that my Dad (Pop) on the left.

Okay...

THE CONCERT!

Yep! December 13th... less than two weeks away.

I know, I know. I talk about this gig a lot. But it's only because we've had such a good time at these things in the past that I know each one of these is gonna turn into a special night. Like I always say, it's just a good way to kick the year in the ass as it heads out the door. And 2008 was a pretty interesting year... no?

AND, at these things the whole audience sings - sometimes they get up and dance. Y'never know what's gonna go down. And this year, I've got some fun people on stage with me again. But, we usually laugh as much as we sing.

ANYWAY!

The box office is open today.

Or you can get your tickets online right now!

(IF you call them directly to get tickets, make sure you ask which is the better way to get the very best seats still available... either by phone or online!)

THERE ISN'T A BAD SEAT I THIS GREAT CONCERT VENUE. Seriously, it's a great hall.... 450 seats, but it feels very intimate. Y'know, you might even wanna consider just coming by yourself. The vibe is pretty much the same as it is at "The Hill" in Central Park. So you know it's cool to come to something like this by yourself and be surrounded by the same cool people that you hang with all summer. Probably even look around and see a lot of the same faces.

Y'know?

If you're new around here... I've had a lot of fun with Photoshop during the past election year. Here's an update that contained a SUPER BIG PHOTOSHOP GALLERY!

AND, I very often like to make a few songs available as FREE downloads. Here are a few more...

CRAZY ON THE SAME DAY
WHERE'S THE VOICE
TOM CRUISE SCARES ME
THE RELIGION SONG
THROUGH MY NOSE

Oh, one more...

BILL O'REILLY: THE LEGEND OF THE BIG GIANT HEAD

Okay, I'm outta here.

See you back here a little later with an update on the amount of tickets that are left for the concert.

Thanks for everything.

A note from filmmaker Dean Love...

As you may know I am producing a documentary about "That Guitar Man from Central Park". I would like to ask all David's fans out there to write me and tell me any stories you may have about David and his playing in Central Park and how it has affected you or what it has meant to you. I've already heard some great stories, but I know there are more that I haven't heard. So if you got a story to tell about David and his music, please briefly write it out and send it to stories@thatguitarman.com . I will be contacting people from the stories submitted to interview them for possible inclusion in the film. Thank you and I look forward to seeing everyone on the hill this summer.
