Welcome to everyone checkin' out this website from across the country and different parts of the world. Here in The States we are in the middle of Thanksgiving Weekend. And today is a shopping day people call Black Friday!

I was thinkin' about getting on a train and heading out to the suburbs at 4am to hit "The Mall" and scramble for the big bargains!

But, then I remembered something....

.

.

I'm sane.

.

.

Here in New York City, we had us a parade yesterday on Central Park West.... the street that goes right by "The Hill" in Central Park and actually the very street I live on these days.

Here in New York we're also 2 weeks away from "The Something-th Annual Year End Concert". (More about that in a minute.)

How ever you spent yesterday, I hope you found Peace and warmth, and many things for which to be truly thankful.

Me?

I always say I feel like the luckiest man in the world.... and I mean it. Yesterday was a bittersweet day in some ways. But, it doesn't change this single fact.

I love my life, and what I do. I love making music and sharin' it with you guys.

BUT HEY! Did you watch that parade yesterday? Listen, I know... I know the election is over and it turned out GREAT! But... that awful, awful woman just won't seem to go away. And yesterday DAMMIT!

There she was again on Central Park West... takin' aim at one of this nation's most beloved moose.

Fortunately, she was grabbed by several hot dog street vendors and held until the NYPD could get her on a plane back to Alaska.

OKAY!

THE CONCERT

Do NOT get sold out of this one!!!

Call a couple of friends this weekend and grab some tickets, okay? Even though it's a holiday weekend, the box office is open today from noon until 4:00...

(212) 501-3330

Or, you can get 'em right now online!

THERE ISN'T A BAD SEAT I THIS GREAT CONCERT VENUE. Seriously, it's a great hall.... 450 seats, but it feels very intimate. Y'know, you might even wanna consider just coming by yourself. The vibe is pretty much the same as it is at "The Hill" in Central Park. So you know it's cool to come to something like this by yourself and be surrounded by the same cool people that you hang with all summer. Probably even look around and see a lot of the same faces.

I know there are always people visiting here who have NO idea what I do!

So, I very often like to make a few songs available as FREE downloads. Here are a few more...

WHERE'S THE VOICE
CRAZY ON THE SAME DAY
LOST ON BLEECKER STREET
THE RELIGION SONG

Okay, I'm outta here. But, y'know... if you're new around here go check out the "Archive". There's a lot of cool stuff goin' on here all the time.

And, here's something I said yesterday.

If you're on the road and heading somewhere this weekend, have fun. Be cool to each other. Pay attention. Take it really easy. Be cool.

"Nice" is a big word. A good word.

So is "Thanks"

Thanks for everything.

A note from filmmaker Dean Love...

As you may know I am producing a documentary about "That Guitar Man from Central Park". I would like to ask all David's fans out there to write me and tell me any stories you may have about David and his playing in Central Park and how it has affected you or what it has meant to you. I've already heard some great stories, but I know there are more that I haven't heard. So if you got a story to tell about David and his music, please briefly write it out and send it to stories@thatguitarman.com . I will be contacting people from the stories submitted to interview them for possible inclusion in the film. Thank you and I look forward to seeing everyone on the hill this summer.
