HAPPY THANKSGIVING.

A day to enjoy "Turkey".

.

(from space.)

.

Get it?

Uy!

Well... whether you're heading out of town or you stayed put, whether you're spending time with family or spending time feeling grateful alone - - I want to send you warm and beautiful thoughts today.

Me personally... I have so much for which to be grateful.

And collectively?

I think most of you who visit this website, dig my music and know what I'm about will be able to relate to this and share this dose of gratitude with me.

Thanksgiving might be my favorite holiday. I love the idea of it, and I dig that it belongs to everyone who wants it.

I've also gotta say... "The March of the Wooden Soldiers"... "A Charlie Brown Christmas"... and "The Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade" all in one weekend!!!

.

Yeah... the season officially starts this weekend.

Time for some tradition, hah? Like... um... our "The Something-th Annual Year-End Concert" at Merkin Concert Hall on December 13th! (That's just two weeks from this coming Saturday night!)

Did you get your tickets, yet?

Even though it's a holiday, you can get 'em today online!

Click on this banner to order tickets online.

Or, you can call the box office directly over this weekend... tomorrow or Sunday!

(212) 501-3330

Y'know? You can call a bunch of friends and make a night of it. Kinda get together for the holidays that day and then make this gig icing on the cake. Or you might even wanna consider just coming by yourself. The vibe is pretty much the same as it is at "The Hill" in Central Park. So you know it's cool to come to something like this by yourself and be surrounded by the same cool people that you hang with all summer. Probably even look around and see a lot of the same faces.

THE BOX WILL BE OPEN TOMORROW!
From noon until 7:00

Hope I see you guys at the concert in 2 and a half weeks. Last I heard there were about 250 seats left. I'll check again and update you guys... probably a little later today or tonight!

I know there are always people visiting here who have NO idea what I do!

So, I very often like to make a few songs available as FREE downloads. Here are a few more...

WHERE'S THE VOICE
CRAZY ON THE SAME DAY
LOST ON BLEECKER STREET
THE RELIGION SONG

Anyway... everybody, there's always a lot of cool stuff goin' on around here. I'm just makin' this shit up as I go along.. (Photoshop images, political cartoons, FREE songs to download.) I hope you keep stopping by here every day. And if you dig this kinda thing, I hope you turn a few friends onto it as well. (If you don't like this kinda thing... um.. uh... how the hell did you get all the way to the bottom of this page!?)

The rest of you... keep in touch.

If you're on the road and heading somewhere this weekend, have fun. Be cool to each other. Pay attention. Take it really easy. Be cool.

"Nice" is a big word. A good word.

So is "Thanks"

Thanks for everything.

A note from filmmaker Dean Love...

As you may know I am producing a documentary about "That Guitar Man from Central Park". I would like to ask all David's fans out there to write me and tell me any stories you may have about David and his playing in Central Park and how it has affected you or what it has meant to you. I've already heard some great stories, but I know there are more that I haven't heard. So if you got a story to tell about David and his music, please briefly write it out and send it to stories@thatguitarman.com . I will be contacting people from the stories submitted to interview them for possible inclusion in the film. Thank you and I look forward to seeing everyone on the hill this summer.
- Dean
