Hey! Welcome to everyone reading this in different parts of the country and different parts of the world.

If you're NEW here... here's a little look back so you can catch up on what this site has been about for the past few years.

Pretty cool update from a few weeks ago.

.

But, here in New York City... I've got some really good news today!

.

.

(No. No. Not that!) You guys here in New York, across the country and in different parts of the world already know what happened in that historic election 2 days ago.

.

No, this is more good news.

.

Palin's getting her ass back up to Alaska... but that's not the real good news.

.

.

No! Are you kidding!? Anyone with an ego like this woman will be back. (Oh, I hope so! She's the slowest moving target for comedy that's come along in a long, long time!)

No.

Today, I officially start looking forward to "The Something-th Annual Year End Concert". And now I can say this now with certainty.

If you're coming to the concert... here's the GOOD NEWS!

.

As in... NO POLITICS!

.

All together now...

YYYaaaaaaaaaaaayyyyyyyyyyyyyyy!

I mean, sure I'll keep writing songs about commonality and some songs with a social conscience. And if there's absurdity, hypocrisy or injustice in the world that inspires me of course I'll write about it.

But, damn! We all need a break! (I know I do!)

So, I'm gonna head out to Central Park, weather permitting, one last time this coming Saturday afternoon - even if it's freezing - just for a little while, to put a cap on this whole election year. Then, it's time to head indoors and share music and laughs. As we do every year together, we'll all kick this year right in the ass as it heads out the door.

I think over 100 tickets are already gone.

But, there are over 350 seats left! So, grab some this week!

Click on this banner to order tickets online.

Or, call the box office directly and talk to Jake or Julie.

Cool?

Go ahead. Call a few friends this week and make sure you grab your tickets soon.

I'll be back tomorrow with another update.

Hey...

This concert on December 13th is gonna be a blast! If it isn't raining this Saturday, I'll tell you all about it when I head to Central Park just one mo' time to put a celebratory cap on this election year.

Check back

Thanks for everything.

A note from filmmaker Dean Love...

As you may know I am producing a documentary about "That Guitar Man from Central Park". I would like to ask all David's fans out there to write me and tell me any stories you may have about David and his playing in Central Park and how it has affected you or what it has meant to you. I've already heard some great stories, but I know there are more that I haven't heard. So if you got a story to tell about David and his music, please briefly write it out and send it to stories@thatguitarman.com . I will be contacting people from the stories submitted to interview them for possible inclusion in the film. Thank you and I look forward to seeing everyone on the hill this summer.
