Welcome to everyone reading this in different parts of the country and different parts of the world.

If you're NEW here... here's a little look back so you can catch up on what this site has been about for the past few years.

Pretty cool update from a few weeks ago.

Oh man!!!

I just received an email from a lovely woman who hangs at "The Hill" in Central Park with us all summer.

Y'know how I was saying that if Barack Obama won this election, that I would head out to Central Park no matter what the temperature, to play one more time and put a cap on this election year?

Well... besides the fact that it might rain tomorrow, Linda wrote that she was in Central Park yesterday and that.... THE PARKS DEPARTMENT HAS FENCED OFF THE HILL FOR THE SEASON!

I'm gonna take a walk out there today. But, if the fence is up for good... what can I say?

Oh well.

Hey, y'know what that means!

TIME TO PUT POLITICS IN THE CLOSET!

Time to get ready to smile and laugh for the rest of the year. Time to start diggin' the slide into the holiday season in New York City.Time to get ready to "flip the sign" on 2008.

TODAY! Right now... call a few more friends and make plans to really make night of it here in town on December 13th for "The Something-th Annual Year End Concert".

I think over 100 tickets are already gone.

But, there are over 350 seats left! So, grab some this week!

Click on this banner to order tickets online.

Or, call the box office directly and talk to Jake or Julie.

Cool?

Go ahead. Call a few friends this week and make sure you grab your tickets soon.

And, like I said yesterday... at this concert...

As in... NO POLITICS!

Just in time, too.

(whew!)

I field all kinds of emails from people from all over. And most of the time they are from people who, although we might disagree 'bout things, we can actually exchange ideas. But, I also get some ridiculous messages from really tiny-minded people once in a while... oh, y'know... with bullshit propagandist videos attached and stuff. Silly stuff from silly people. And, I've had it. No more. I don't ask for that crap... so don't send it to me.

(Just had one of the creepiest exchanges I've had in a year or two.)

Glad to be done with it.

Y'know?

Ha!

I named the last CD "I Love the Company" for a reason!

All of you who are coming to the concert on the 13th!? I can't wait to hang with you!

I love the company!

See you guys back here tomorrow.

PEACE

Thanks for everything.

A note from filmmaker Dean Love...

As you may know I am producing a documentary about "That Guitar Man from Central Park". I would like to ask all David's fans out there to write me and tell me any stories you may have about David and his playing in Central Park and how it has affected you or what it has meant to you. I've already heard some great stories, but I know there are more that I haven't heard. So if you got a story to tell about David and his music, please briefly write it out and send it to stories@thatguitarman.com . I will be contacting people from the stories submitted to interview them for possible inclusion in the film. Thank you and I look forward to seeing everyone on the hill this summer.
