Hey! Welcome to Sunday... just 3 weeks away from "The Something-th Annual Year End Concert" at Merkin Concert Hall!

And the box office is open today. (More about that in a minute.)

.

BUT... this is Thanksgiving week! and, I have a reason to be extra-special excited this year.

Y'know? I've been "That Guitar Man from Central Park" for quite a few years, now. It's a great life and I'm a very lucky man. But, I NEVER expected the surprise phone call I just got from the people over at The Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade. Turns out, several of them have been coming to hang out with all of us at "The Hill" in Central Park.

I mean, I sooooo dig playing for all of you New Yorkers and people from all across the country and around the world all summer. (I love actually being a very real part of this town.) But, I also love the change of seasons.... Fall, into early Winter... Halloween to Thanksgiving to Christmas to New Year's Day. But, I think Thanksgiving just might have moved into the lead for my favorite holiday of all. And so this year it was so cool to get the phone call telling me that a brand new balloon is making it's debut in the parade.

I'm stoked!!!

Now, when people tell me I'm full of hot air... they'll be right!

Okay, enough silliness... moving on.

A little more silliness from yesterday's update.

I did a piece yesterday... well... um...

What! Problem?

Yes... yes... I know. I suppose you've seen it. Sarah Palin and Joe that damned Plumber... back in the news.

HA! Just when you think those people can't get any weirder.

They do.

Just when you wish they would reeeeaallllyyy just go away, they don't!

We truly live in Bizarro-World.

TODAY... it's Sunday. I miss you guys. BUT - hopefully I will see you soon in Merkin Concert Hall for "The Something-th Annual Year End Concert".

Y'know? There isn't a bad seat in that great music venue. There really isn't! That's one of the things that makes it so unique. But, I just checked with the box office and there are exactly 250 seats left. We're 3 weeks out from the show. But, you might wanna start thinking about calling a few friends if you wanna make a night of it. Y'know, dinner in the area, or drinks after the concert.

Then, go ahead and get your tickets reserved.

The box office is OPEN today, from noon to 7:00 tomorrow. (Sunday)

(212) 501-3330

Or, you can go ahead and grab them RIGHT NOW online!

Click on this banner to order tickets online.

If you call the box office, remember to ask them if the best seats are available by phone or online. (There's a difference. They're separate. I don't know why!)

Y'know? You might even wanna consider just coming by yourself. The vibe is pretty much the same as it is at "The Hill" in Central Park. So you know it's cool to come to something like this by yourself and be surrounded by the same cool people that you hang with all summer. Probably even look around and see a lot of the same faces.

Very cool.

Okay, enough fun for one day. I'll be back tomorrow. Maybe with a new Photoshop image or another song or two to download for FREE.

See you back here tomorrow, and I hope I see you on December 13th!

Thanks for everything.

A note from filmmaker Dean Love...

As you may know I am producing a documentary about "That Guitar Man from Central Park". I would like to ask all David's fans out there to write me and tell me any stories you may have about David and his playing in Central Park and how it has affected you or what it has meant to you. I've already heard some great stories, but I know there are more that I haven't heard. So if you got a story to tell about David and his music, please briefly write it out and send it to stories@thatguitarman.com . I will be contacting people from the stories submitted to interview them for possible inclusion in the film. Thank you and I look forward to seeing everyone on the hill this summer.
- Dean
