Okay! I've got some important news today about the concert tickets! But first...
This summer season, the outdoor music season is over! But, Damn! I love my life! Y'know, we had a great time out there in Central Park this year. And now I've got a couple of ideas.
For one thing... if the weather is even close to being good enough, the first Saturday after election day? (November 8th) I'M GONNA HEAD TO THE PARK ONE MO' TIME!!!
Because y'know... for the past 8 years I've been writing songs and volumes of words on this website, and making videos, and trying to find music and humor in the darkness. So, after Barack Obama wins this election and people of Truth and Reason try to point this country back toward the ideals upon which it was founded... I'm going out to Central Park to celebrate. I don't care if it's freezing and there are only 2 of us out there!
Now... back to the "indoor" stuff!
If you're new around here...HERE'S A LINK YOU MIGHT WANNA check out to kinda get an idea of what's been goin' on around here.
I understand there has been some early confusion about purchasing tickets for the upcoming "Something-th Annual Year End Concert" at Merkin Concert Hall.
I mean... a BUNCH of you are emailing me, saying that it's been difficult to get the best seats in the orchestra "online".
I spoke with Jake and Judy in the box office... (They're really cool people) ... and it turns out there was a weird little system about releasing orchestra seats online as opposed to making them available for call-in orders.
But... as of today they released a whole lot more. So if you wanna order them "online" GRAB THEM NOW~
But... ALL of the seats in the whole concert hall, every seat, is available if you call the box office directly. So, here's the number:
212-501-3330
Yeah, I know it's still 6 weeks away. But, call a few friends and plan to hang with me on December 13th. It's gonna be a special night. I can feel it already.

Okay...
A little re-post from yesterday.
Listen everybody with friends and relatives in Pennsylvania, Ohio and Michigan... and, I know most of you here in New York City hafta have relatives in Florida... well, get on the phone and make sure they VOTE! You've gotta make sure this man doesn't get anywhere near The Oval Office...
As you may know I am producing a documentary about "That Guitar Man from Central Park". I would like to ask all David's fans out there to write me and tell me any stories you may have about David and his playing in Central Park and how it has affected you or what it has meant to you. I've already heard some great stories, but I know there are more that I haven't heard. So if you got a story to tell about David and his music, please briefly write it out and send it to stories@thatguitarman.com . I will be contacting people from the stories submitted to interview them for possible inclusion in the film. Thank you and I look forward to seeing everyone on the hill this summer. - Dean
