Well, this past Saturday a bunch of us headed out to Central Park for one last afternoon of music and laughs.
This summer was just one more great season out there at "The Hill" - - one more year that I got to be "That Guitar Man from Central Park".
Now, it's time to move it indoors. I think I'm gonna be able to let you guys know this week about the plans for "The Something-th Annual Year End Concert".
But, before we do...
Click on this image for a farewell video.
I'll have a few more videos up here at the website for you guys to check out all week.
And, I gotta tell you... I'm waiting to hear about a gig that might or might not happen that would take me outta town for the rest of this year. (I have NO idea if it's gonna happen.) But if it doesn't, I'll be able to let you know almost immediately when the tickets will go on sale for the "Year End Concert". Trust me... you're NOT gonna wanna miss this one.
If you're new here... CHECK BACK TOMORROW AND EVERY DAY THIS WEEK.
Besides those videos and the updates about the indoor stuff, I have a couple of other ideas to make you smile this week. (I'm officially losing my mind. You'll see.)
Oh, but let me start you off this week with the newest Photoshop image.
Got a feeling James and Laura are laughin' at this one.
Y'know what?
I promised someone at "The Hill" this weekend that I would post this song as a FREE download. So, here it is...
Welcome to everyone visiting here across the country and in different parts of the world. There's an awful lotta cool shit goin' on here at this site all the time. Here... here's a little photoshop gallery from a few weeks back.
Here's a link to a couple of fun videos... including the SARAH PALIN SONG
I'll be back here tomorrow.
Cool?
I'll be back tomorrow with another update... and hopefully some video!
One more time... I hafta say this as I wrap up the 17th summer I've been called "That Guitar Man from Central Park".
.
Thanks for everything.
All outdoor events are weather permitting! Stop by the website before you go if it is questionable.

As you may know I am producing a documentary about "That Guitar Man from Central Park". I would like to ask all David's fans out there to write me and tell me any stories you may have about David and his playing in Central Park and how it has affected you or what it has meant to you. I've already heard some great stories, but I know there are more that I haven't heard. So if you got a story to tell about David and his music, please briefly write it out and send it to stories@thatguitarman.com . I will be contacting people from the stories submitted to interview them for possible inclusion in the film. Thank you and I look forward to seeing everyone on the hill this summer. - Dean
