Okay guys...

First of all, as always, I wanna welcome everyone reading this in a different part of the country or a different part of the world. (Even if you happen to be reading this in Sarah Palin's real America. We here in New York & Gamorrah welcome you, too.)

I mean, look at these unAmerican heathens gathering in Central Park every weekend. (Probably plotting to make your children gay or something in between songs.)

.

Anyway, listen all you godless friends of mine from "The Hill" in Central Park... I've got some news and a few fun things for you guys to do here at the site today.

This is the first day after the summer season. And... it's raining. So, I know, I know. Withdrawal can be uncomfortable. It's still 8 weeks until "The Something-th Annual Year End Concert" at Merkin Concert Hall! (I'll have more about that a little further down the page.) And it looks right now as if the tickets will go on sale this week sometime.

So, okay... first day.

NO SINGIN' IN THE PARK TODAY!

What I thought I'd do today is give you guys a look back at some of the crazy shit that's gone on this year - - a little retrospective look back. (Wait! Can you possibly have a retrospective look forward? I think not!)

Goodbye summer '08

A note from filmmaker Dean Love...

As you may know I am producing a documentary about "That Guitar Man from Central Park". I would like to ask all David's fans out there to write me and tell me any stories you may have about David and his playing in Central Park and how it has affected you or what it has meant to you. I've already heard some great stories, but I know there are more that I haven't heard. So if you got a story to tell about David and his music, please briefly write it out and send it to stories@thatguitarman.com . I will be contacting people from the stories submitted to interview them for possible inclusion in the film. Thank you and I look forward to seeing everyone on the hill this summer.
- Dean
