Welcome to all of you reading this in different parts of the country and different parts of the world.
Here in New York City, we had another typically amazing afternoon out in Central Park. I've got that video I promised you guys.
Do this today, okay?
Wouldja do this today? It'll be fun.
Send the link for this page to all your friends and family across the country and around the world... let them share in your day a little bit.

Okay...
Back to the music, the politics and other fun stuff. HERE IT IS! The new Sarah Palin parody, "Don't Know Palin"
If you've been coming around here lately, you know we've been having a lot of fun around the choice of Sarah Palin to be John McCain's vice presidential running mate. (You can download the new song a little further down the page, and then pass it all around the internet.)

Y'know when I was down at Chris Lavin's apartment laying down the voice over parts, she suggested that a whole bunch of people might wanna start playing this on the radio... college radio stations, Air America and the like. (Air America has aired my tune "JesusLand" several times so I'm thinking she had a good point.) So, here's an FCC-friendly version for public airplay. I bleeped out one word - - (gasp!!!)
Whew!
Okay, here's the version for the rest of us.
And for you podcasters and bloggers who aren't encumbered by censorship.
I rrreeeeeaaallllly want you guys to download this for yourselves, but then pass it on to several friends around the country, especially in those "swing states". (C'mon... this is New York. I know at least half of you have relatives in Florida!)
Between now and November, try to get as may friends as you can to at least check out this site.... and even tell them to browse the "Archives"
And keep passing this FREE stuff all around the internet.
Okay...
If you're in NYC, hope I see you in the park.
Make sure to check in all week. I'll have some more video from yesterday in the park!!!!
Thanks for everything.
All outdoor events are weather permitting! Stop by the website before you go if it is questionable.

As you may know I am producing a documentary about "That Guitar Man from Central Park". I would like to ask all David's fans out there to write me and tell me any stories you may have about David and his playing in Central Park and how it has affected you or what it has meant to you. I've already heard some great stories, but I know there are more that I haven't heard. So if you got a story to tell about David and his music, please briefly write it out and send it to stories@thatguitarman.com . I will be contacting people from the stories submitted to interview them for possible inclusion in the film. Thank you and I look forward to seeing everyone on the hill this summer. - Dean
