Welcome to the website today.

Welcome to all my fellow New Yorkers and people from across the country and different parts of the world/

If you're here today looking for the funny stuff, hit the Archives, okay?

If you're here looking for the new song "Don't Know Palin"... go here. It's a free download for you to pass around.

But...

.

If you're like me, today you might just wanna go inside for a little while.

Go inside. Be still.

Remember.

And, be grateful for every moment.

I'll be back tomorrow with some more fun stuff, and possibly a few comments about the upcoming election and the choices Americans are going to have to make. (I'm so encouraged for the overwhelming number of emails from people who are genuinely hopeful about the future. Still, I'm growing more and more astounded by the bizarro-world some people who email me at this site seem to live in. I truly, truly don't know what color the sky is in their world. But, they live in a much different reality than I do for sure! Y'see, to me they seem to live in a fear-based existence built on very firmly implanted belief systems. But that's for another day and another song. (For the most part, it's pretty clear they certainly have completely different idea about the kind of country they'd like to live in.... what's acceptable, what's not... and they seem to have a different set of moral-absolutes.) But, that's what makes Life and this journey so fascinating for me.

I guess that's one of the reasons I write songs.

For today - I'm going to choose to go inside, and...

Remember.

And hope.

And be quiet and still.

.

Thanks for everything.

See you tomorrow.

A note from filmmaker Dean Love...

As you may know I am producing a documentary about "That Guitar Man from Central Park". I would like to ask all David's fans out there to write me and tell me any stories you may have about David and his playing in Central Park and how it has affected you or what it has meant to you. I've already heard some great stories, but I know there are more that I haven't heard. So if you got a story to tell about David and his music, please briefly write it out and send it to stories@thatguitarman.com . I will be contacting people from the stories submitted to interview them for possible inclusion in the film. Thank you and I look forward to seeing everyone on the hill this summer.
