Hey guys.... welcome to the website. Welcome to all of you who are reading this in different parts of the country and different parts of the world.
And, if you were here in New York city and got to hang out with me in Central Park this past Saturday... THANKS AGAIN!

Listen, I know I promised you some video from this past weekend. It will be here really soon. I've posted dozens of videos of you guys here over the past few years and it's really cool, because you can let all your friends and family around the world share in the day you had in Central Park in some small way. But, I started to work on it yesterday and the damnedest thing happen. somehow the transfer isn't happening from the camera to Quicktime to imovie so I can't load it up on Mevio to let you guys watch it! (Sounds a little convoluted, I know. It's just a long-winded way of saying it's either a little fucked up right now or I just don't know what I'm doing!)
Damn!
But, what an amazing time we had on Saturday.
Music business legends, people from all across the country and different parts of the world all singin' together, laughing together... whew!
Listen... for all of you guys waaaaayyy out east on Long Island, I'm gonna be roadtrippin' TONIGHT to play a gig out at The Stephen Talkhouse. (I've never played that venue before. But, it's a great music hall.)

I'm not sure yet what I'm gonna do out there, music-wise. But, it'll be a good time. Maybe I'll run a couple of brand new songs. The music will crank up at 8:15 or 8:30
THEN TOMORROW... I think I'll be able to sit down in front of this computer with James Marino, the webmaster and evil genius who runs this site, and get the video thing resolved.
Cool?
And, all of you who put your email addresses in that little book yesterday or took a card home with you... I'll be in touch very soon to let you know about that video concert I was talkin' about. AND, I promise I will let you know what's goin' on as the "Year-End Concert" gets closer. (Yeah, yeah... I know it's only August. But who knows when a lot of us'll see each other again!)
Hey, let me keep the feeling going by giving something away right now to anyone who's new around here! Here's a FREE download.
CRAZY ON THE SAME DAY
Now, listen... I told you guys about an idea I had about doing an internet-video concert to have a "Conversation with the Swing States" about the upcoming election in November.
So, you can imagine how surprised I was when... well...
I was speechless when this guy showed up in the park last Saturday. And, breathless when he said he wanted to sing. (And incredulous when he took his shirt off.) But, what the hell. He wanted to sing "Bomb Iran" but I wouldn't let him. I told him the jokes he repeatedly makes about killing Iranian people aren't funny, and that the thought of him in the Oval Office is about as scary as it gets. So instead, he sang a medley of ABBA hits. That was weird... but safer.

This man is a nightmare. We have work to do.
(sigh)
Oh, one last thing... of course weather-permitting, I'll see the below-14th Street-crowd on Pier 45 in The Village for the next installment of the "Sunset on the Hudson" concert series on Friday night.
.
"Sunset on the Hudson" - Friday night from 7:00 - 9:00 on Pier 45 in The Village.
Cool.
I know there are always people visiting here who have NO idea what I do!
So, I very often like to make a few songs available as FREE downloads. Here are a few more...

I hope you keep stopping by here every day. And if you dig this kinda thing, I hope you turn a few friends onto it as well. (If you don't like this kinda thing... um.. uh... how the hell did you get all the way to the bottom of this page!?)
The rest of you... keep in touch.
Thanks for everything.
