I'll see you on Pier 45 for "Sunset on the Hudson" concert series. (It feels so funny calling it a concert series. It's just you guys and me and my guitar every Friday night.) But, I've really enjoyed it this year, and we'll do it again tonight at 7:00 in Hudson River Park.

Really sorry about this weekend in Central Park, though. The people in the Permit Office at The New York City Department of Parks and Recreation, are withholding the Special Events Permit we applied for... again.

So, I won't be able to do what we do this Saturday. Y'know? If there really is a legitimate event taking place in the exact spot that I play, I'd be happy to go out there on Sunday instead!

I just got a call from our friend, Sid Bernstein, and he told me he was gonna try to make a few phone calls. His birthday is coming up and he really wanted to hang with all of us on "The Hill" this weekend. So... maybe Sunday instead.

(But, I have a feeling they wouldn't go for that idea in the Permit Office.) So, let's hope for some great weather next Saturday.
