Hey... it's a new week!

(Aw hell, every day is new!)

BUT... okay let's put the disappointment of this past Saturday behind us. I'm already looking forward to hangin' out with all of you this coming Saturday in Central Park...

...and on Friday night on Pier 45 down in The Village.

In the meantime, we can all hang out here at this website. WELCOME to everyone reading this across the country and in different parts of the world. (If you dig this stuff I sincerely hope you're turning your friends onto it as well.)

I just smile. I think that it's soooooo f*cking cool! The world is getting to be a very small campus! Maybe someday we all begin to realize that "it's just us" all living here on this tiny blue speck in the eternity of space.... or whatever!

So, I very often like to make a few songs available as FREE downloads. Here are a few more.

CRAZY ON THE SAME DAY
THE RELIGION SONG
WHERE'S THE VOICE
TOM CRUISE SCARES ME
JESUSLAND

To all of you here in New York City... The Big Apple... the crossroads of the world, Florence during the Renaissance, a truly international experiment that works every day... I just want you to all know I'm so grateful that you have made me "That Guitar Man from Central Park" and allowed me to do what I love to do for this many years - - write songs and sing 'em for people.

Oh yeah... I did get quite a few emails regarding this disturbing image from one of last week's updates.

No. No, he won't be singing with me this weekend. I was just havin' a little fun. (But, I can assure you all, reading this across the country and around the world... I don't think this image is half as disturbing as the image of this man in the Oval Office!)

I have work to do!

Um... anyway everybody, there's always a lot of cool stuff goin' on around here. I'm just makin' this shit up as I go along.. (Photoshop images, political cartoons, FREE songs to download.)

In fact... there was a Super Update a couple of weeks ago with a full gallery! Knock yourself out..

I hope you keep stopping by here every day. And if you dig this kinda thing, I hope you turn a few friends onto it as well. (If you don't like this kinda thing... um.. uh... how the hell did you get all the way to the bottom of this page!?)

The rest of you... keep in touch.

Thanks for everything.

A note from filmmaker Dean Love...

As you may know I am producing a documentary about "That Guitar Man from Central Park". I would like to ask all David's fans out there to write me and tell me any stories you may have about David and his playing in Central Park and how it has affected you or what it has meant to you. I've already heard some great stories, but I know there are more that I haven't heard. So if you got a story to tell about David and his music, please briefly write it out and send it to stories@thatguitarman.com . I will be contacting people from the stories submitted to interview them for possible inclusion in the film. Thank you and I look forward to seeing everyone on the hill this summer.
- Dean
