Were you out in Central Park yesterday!?

If you were, I hafta say "Thanks" again.

I'll explain why yesterday was sooooo cool.

Well, for one thing, our good friend Sid came out to hang with us again. There's always a little something.. something... extra "Good" about the music and the energy when that man is around.

And... a very cool and good man named Billy made his once-a-year trip out to "The Hill" with a whole bunch of youngbloods who are learning about all different types of political and social expression. It's something I always enjoy being a part of in some small way. Y'know? Besides making music, I love the idea that we all might be making a "memory" for a lifetime at any given moment.

It's a shame they had to leave as early as they did... seeing as how we had a guest singer come out and join us as his first stop back in The States.

Not really. Just screwin' with the ETGAR bunch.

But, seriously... I hope those young people never stop "paying attention". It's my hope that some of them help make it "cool-to-care" again.

But, mostly for me it's always about being around all of you...sharing my songs and my thoughts and my feelings with all of you right in the middle of the greatest city on the planet.

I'm a very lucky man.

And... thanks to everyone who showed up down on Pier 45 last night for the "Sunset on the Hudson" concert series. I had a really good time. I'm enjoying that venue a whole lot more this summer, thanks to you guys.

As always... welcome to all of you in different parts of the country and different parts of the world. I know there are always people visiting here who have NO idea what I do!

So, I very often like to make a few songs available as FREE downloads. Here are a few more...

CRAZY ON THE SAME DAY

TOM CRUISE SCARES ME

Hey!

Things are pretty cool around here. In a few days, I'll post an excerpt from a conversation I had the other night during an event at which I got to speak with Senator John McCain. (You might find it interesting.)

If you're new around here, spend a little time lookin' around. There's still a lot of content from past updates here on the site. (Photoshop images, political cartoons, FREE songs to download.)

In fact... there was a Super Update a couple of weeks ago with a full gallery! Knock yourself out..

I hope you keep stopping by here every day. And if you dig this kinda thing, I hope you turn a few friends onto it as well. (If you don't like this kinda thing... um.. uh... how the hell did you get all the way to the bottom of this page!?)

The rest of you... keep in touch.

Thanks for everything.

A note from filmmaker Dean Love...

As you may know I am producing a documentary about "That Guitar Man from Central Park". I would like to ask all David's fans out there to write me and tell me any stories you may have about David and his playing in Central Park and how it has affected you or what it has meant to you. I've already heard some great stories, but I know there are more that I haven't heard. So if you got a story to tell about David and his music, please briefly write it out and send it to stories@thatguitarman.com . I will be contacting people from the stories submitted to interview them for possible inclusion in the film. Thank you and I look forward to seeing everyone on the hill this summer.
