Okay!!! It's HOT!

What are you doin' tomorrow afternoon? We've got MUSIC. We've got shade!!!

AND, WE'VE GOT A WATER SPRINKLER GOING WITH COLD WATER ALL DAY so bring a bathing suit or get wet in your clothes. It's that hot! It's that cool. And this thing is gonna be FUN!

Call a few friends today! Or make plans to come by yourself. THEN... pack a picnic, pack a beach towel, grab a blanket and head over to H.I. New York Performance Hall on Amsterdam Ave. @ 103rd Street around noon.

Go to the lobby and then out through the courtyard to the beautiful backyard grounds of the place!

.

THEN... relax and hang out all afternoon with the nicest, music-lovin' people in the greatest city on earth for the first annual...

"UPPER WEST MUSIC FEST"

I'M NOT GONNA BE SINGING IN CENTRAL PARK!!!

I'm NOT gonna be where I usually am, doing what I've been doing for so many years!

I'm hosting this thing instead!!! AND IT'S GONNA BE GREAT!!!

Do NOT miss out on being a part of the very first one. Here are the artists who are gonna share music and laughs with you guys all day!!!

(NOT just me for a change!!!)

2 of my favorites who I've introduced to you guys at different events and venues are gonna be there. The amazing KARLUS TRAPP and the beautiful and talented young singer/songwriter CASSANDRA KUBINSKI.

.
Click on their photos to visit their websites.

And, we're also gonna be joined by a couple of fine artists I was just introduced to... 2 people who have real 60s vibe goin' on... Ivy Vale & Rick Reil (of The Grip Weeds and The Wyld Olde Souls)

You'll be able to bring a picnic blanket, food, cold drinks... hang out and listen to a lineup of wonderful, really fun artists all afternoon. (Bring a bunch of friends and bring a little something extra to share with your fellow music lovers. Or, if you want... come by yourself and make new friends.

You can get your name on the list at the gate in advance... right now if you want, get your tickets today!!! Or, just show up with 10 bucks! Of course this thing will be general admission, just gonna find a place to put your picnic blanket, and the whole afternoon of music is only $10. Here's the link to get your name put on the list at the gate:

.

Go ahead... call a few friends and put your name on the list! If it rains, we'll turn right around and do it the following day!!! (RAINDATE SUNDAY!)

(But, I think tomorrow's gonna see a typical New York summer afternoon!)

Sound good?

Cool.

OH... BY THE WAY!

I'm still waiting for all of you who were out there in Central Park last Sunday to email me with your explanations about "The Wizard of Oz" question I posed to all of you!

Anyway... everybody, go ahead and click on this link to hit the "Archive" page". There's a lot of cool stuff on this site. (Photoshop images, political cartoons, FREE songs to download.)

In fact... there was a Super Update a couple of weeks ago with a full gallery! Knock yourself out..

I hope you keep stopping by here every day. And if you dig this kinda thing, I hope you turn a few friends onto it as well.

Keep in touch.

Thanks for everything.

A note from filmmaker Dean Love...

As you may know I am producing a documentary about "That Guitar Man from Central Park". I would like to ask all David's fans out there to write me and tell me any stories you may have about David and his playing in Central Park and how it has affected you or what it has meant to you. I've already heard some great stories, but I know there are more that I haven't heard. So if you got a story to tell about David and his music, please briefly write it out and send it to stories@thatguitarman.com . I will be contacting people from the stories submitted to interview them for possible inclusion in the film. Thank you and I look forward to seeing everyone on the hill this summer.
