Okay... here we go!

Hey! To all of you who are reading this across the country and in different parts of the world... WELCOME to the website today. Got an interesting question a little further down the page you might wanna respond to.

To all of you here in New York City....listen, this coming Saturday in Central Park is for everyone who isn't gonna get out of town for The Fourth of July Weekend.

I might just have another surprise for a lot of you guys out there this weekend. (Okay, not a real surprise to many of you regulars who've been hanging out with me at this time of year.)

And here at the website... got an announcement.

On July 19th!

Our first backyard picnic and music festival - - on July 19th!

Listen, you can put your name on the entrance list right here, right now... TODAY here at the website! (A little further down this page) And, this gig is ONLY $10 for a whole afternoon of music!!!

Right now it looks like these artists are lining up to play.

So far... I think we'll have at least 2 of my favorites who I've introduced to you guys at different events and venues. The amazing KARLUS TRAPP and the beautiful and talented young singer/songwriter CASSANDRA KUBINSKI.

.
Click on their photos to visit their websites.

And, I'm thinking we're gonna be joined by a couple of fine artists I was just introduced to... 2 people who have real 60s vibe goin' on... Ivy Vale & Rick Reil (of The Grip Weeds and The Wyld Olde Souls)

You'll be able to bring a picnic blanket, food, cold drinks... hang out and listen to a lineup of wonderful, really fun artists all afternoon. (Bring a bunch of friends and bring a little something extra to share with your fellow music lovers. Or, if you want... come by yourself and make new friends.

Saturday afternoon, July 19th (12:00 - 5:00)

The backyard grounds of H.I. New York Performance Hall

.

Call a bunch of friends and get your tickets today!!! Of course this thing will be general admission, just gonna find a p-lace to put your picnic blanket, and the whole afternoon of music is only $10. Here's the link to get your name put on the list at the gate:

.

Go ahead... call a few friends and put your name on the list!

Sound good?

IF YOU'RE NEW AROUND HERE... you oughta know that I'm not afraid to sing about what's on my mind and in my heart. I'm also not afraid to ask questions... tough ones, easy ones and obvious ones.

So, I'm wondering with all the flooding that's been happening in the midwest, all the hardship that nature is inflicting on Missouri and Iowa and Wisconsin and other states in Middle America, many areas of the Bible-Belt...

Who exactly would Christian, right-wing nutjob Pat Robertson say his god is punishing now, and what for?

I mean, here's a man who agreed that 9-11 was the wrath of god inflicted upon us here in New York City because of gays and promiscuity - - and, that Hurricane Katrina might have hit New Orleans as God's way of canceling a gay-pride parade.

So... who is god pissed off at this time?

(And, when is someone just gonna throw a net over that guy?)

Anyway... everybody, go ahead and click on this link to hit the "Archive" page". There's a lot of cool stuff on this site. (Photoshop images, political cartoons, FREE songs to download.)

In fact... there was a Super Update last week! Knock yourself out..

I hope you keep stopping by here every day. And if you dig this kinda thing, I hope you turn a few friends onto it as well.

Keep in touch.

Thanks for everything.

A note from filmmaker Dean Love...

As you may know I am producing a documentary about "That Guitar Man from Central Park". I would like to ask all David's fans out there to write me and tell me any stories you may have about David and his playing in Central Park and how it has affected you or what it has meant to you. I've already heard some great stories, but I know there are more that I haven't heard. So if you got a story to tell about David and his music, please briefly write it out and send it to stories@thatguitarman.com . I will be contacting people from the stories submitted to interview them for possible inclusion in the film. Thank you and I look forward to seeing everyone on the hill this summer.
