Welcome to the website! Welcome to all of you in different parts of the country and different parts of the world. Really wish you could all find a way to get to NYC to join us out on "The Hill" in Central Park.

Another day... more to do.

Got a couple of new songs I'm workin' on today. I think I'll be able to run them by you guys in the park this Saturday.

Maybe I can talk Janet Kirker into comin' out to sing with me again this week. She made a last minute appearance last Saturday and sang "Did You Fall in Love Again" from the Common Ground CD and "I Can't Wait" from The People on the Hill. It's great just makin' it up as I go along... never really knowing who's gonna show up.

I think David Marcus will be back in town next weekend, too. Be kinda cool to have 'em both out there.

And, me being a registered independent and, hopefully, a fair-minded, reasonable man... well, I guess I had to give this guy a chance to sing with me as well.

I was speechless when he showed up in the park last Saturday. And, breathless when he said he wanted to sing. (And incredulous when he took his shirt off.) But, what the hell. He wanted to sing "Bomb Iran" but I wouldn't let him. I told him the jokes he repeatedly makes about killing Iranian people aren't funny, and that the thought of him in the Oval Office is about as scary as it gets. So instead, he sang a medley of ABBA hits. That was weird... but safer.

Hey listen... I'm reeeeallly lookin' forward to this Saturday out at "The Hill" in Central Park with all of you here in New York City.

AND, I'LL BE A PART OF SOMETHING A LITTLE BIT DIFFERENT AND SPECIAL IN CENTRAL PARK ON SUNDAY. SO, CHECK BACK ALL WEEK, OKAY?

And, of course weather-permitting, I'll see the below-14th Street-crowd on Pier 45 in The Village for the next installment of the "Sunset on the Hudson" concert series on Friday night.

.
"Sunset on the Hudson" - Friday night from 7:00 - 9:00 on Pier 45 in The Village.

Cool.

Short update today. I'm workin' on a new song. Maybe I'll run it past you guys in the park or on the pier this weekend.

I know there are always people visiting here who have NO idea what I do!

So, I very often like to make a few songs available as FREE downloads. Here are a few more...

CRAZY ON THE SAME DAY
WHERE'S THE VOICE
TOM CRUISE SCARES ME
JESUSLAND

Anyway... everybody, there's always a lot of cool stuff goin' on around here. I'm just makin' this shit up as I go along.. (Photoshop images, political cartoons, FREE songs to download.)

In fact... there was a Super Update a couple of weeks ago with a full gallery! Knock yourself out..

I hope you keep stopping by here every day. And if you dig this kinda thing, I hope you turn a few friends onto it as well. (If you don't like this kinda thing... um.. uh... how the hell did you get all the way to the bottom of this page!?)

The rest of you... keep in touch.

Thanks for everything.

A note from filmmaker Dean Love...

As you may know I am producing a documentary about "That Guitar Man from Central Park". I would like to ask all David's fans out there to write me and tell me any stories you may have about David and his playing in Central Park and how it has affected you or what it has meant to you. I've already heard some great stories, but I know there are more that I haven't heard. So if you got a story to tell about David and his music, please briefly write it out and send it to stories@thatguitarman.com . I will be contacting people from the stories submitted to interview them for possible inclusion in the film. Thank you and I look forward to seeing everyone on the hill this summer.
