Re-grouping.

Here in NYC, for you guys who come to "The Hill" and know our good, good friend Sid...

You might find this pretty cool. Sad... but, cool at the same time. (Something I've been saying for a long time. And, now people might be catching up.)

Okay... once again! THANK YOU to every single person who showed up in that heat-wave for the first annual "Upper West Music Fest" on the grounds of H.I. New York. The music was great and we had a some good laughs. Jammin' with Karlus, Rick and Dave at the end of the day was a kick!

Tomorrow I'll post a few photos that someone sent in, a review of sorts, an email I received, from one of the festival crowd who flew all the way down from Buffalo to attend the first one!

But right now, I'm just re-grouping. Gotta tell you... putting up an event like that takes an awful lot of planning and promoting. (And luck... we just happened to have it on the hottest day of the year so far! They said it hit 94 degrees, but with the humidity factored in it actually felt like 512.) Still, the music was great and I think everybody in attendance was glad they made it.

Me? Primarily I'm an artist, a singer/songwriter. So, this week I'm looking forward to sitting back with a guitar in my lap and finishing a few things I'm working on. I'm also really looking forward to just playing my usual gigs this weekend... y'know, just doing what I do; very simply sharing music and a few laughs with people. First, Friday night at "The Sunset Concert Series"...

BY THE WAY! Y'know that song I wrote and video I made in 10 minutes about one of the biggest sources of wind in the northern hemisphere (Bill O'Reilly) ?

Someone emailed me and told me it's approaching 21,000 views on YouTube. (So weird. Sometimes it's the things you just throw together that people wanna see and hear the most.) Hey listen... keep checking this website every day and that list over there on the right of this homepage so you know where and when I'm playing and what's goin' on. There are some pretty cool things comin' up and a few more on the back burner! Even a roadtrip out east.

Webmaster James Marino reminded me that there are a lot of people planning their weekends around our gigs in Central Park, so I contacted the Permit Office today to find out what's goin' on. The new dates are posted over there on the right of the page! I'll be out there! (Barring any big name rockers showing up in the park again.)

Cool.

Anyway... everybody, there's always a lot of cool stuff goin' on around here. I'm just makin' this shit up as I go along.. (Photoshop images, political cartoons, FREE songs to download.)
