Okay!

This update is all about TONIGHT, TOMORROW and...

Well, let's start with tonight.

Yeah... the weather's lookin' pretty shaky for the "Sunset Concert Series". I mean, where we usually see a spectacular sunset, I have a feeling we night be singing and watching some threatening skies over Jersey City tonight.

So, check back here. I'm gonna head down there if there's ANY chance we'll get it in. But, I'll update this late in the afternoon if we're a rainout. Y'never know with those "popcorn" thunderstorms. Could be they miss us. So, I'll try be on the pier at the end of Christopher Street (Pier 45) for the gig. (7:00 - 9:00)

.

I gotta say... it's lookin' a bit better weather-wise for another amazing day, hangin' out together in Central Park tomorrow afternoon! I really hope I see all of you who are here in town out there! (Yes... I've got the permits in my hand!)

So, let's head out there and hang out together tomorrow!

NOW!

This weekend in Central Park, I'm hoping to have some mor information about the First Annual PEOPLE ON THE HILL PICNIC MUSIC FESTIVAL.

The date is set:

Saturday afternoon, July 19th (12:00 - 5:00)

The place is set:

The backyard grounds of H.I. New York Performance Hall

.

The tickets price is set:

IT'S ONLY GONNA BE $10

Okay... but the music lineup isn't set and I don't have a way for you to reserve tickets yet. But, that's all coming. I'll tell you guys more about it tomorrow in Central Park and all next week here at the website.

It's gonna be cool.

You'll be able to bring a picnic blanket, food, cold drinks... hang out and listen to a lineup of wonderful, really fun artists all afternoon. (Bring a bunch of friends and bring a little something extra to share with your fellow music lovers. Or, if you want... come by yourself and make new friends.

CHECK BACK!!!

As soon as this thing is solid and you can start reserving your place at this festival, I'll let you know!

Sound good?

IF YOU'RE NEW AROUND HERE... go ahead and click on this link to hit the "Archive" page". There's a lot of cool stuff on this site. (Photoshop images, political cartoons, FREE songs to download.)

In fact... there was a Super Update yesterday! Knock yourself out.

Listen... I gotta get on my horse and get out into that great city.

I hope you keep stopping by here every day. And if you dig this kinda thing, I hope you turn a few friends onto it as well.

Keep in touch.

Thanks for everything.

A note from filmmaker Dean Love...

As you may know I am producing a documentary about "That Guitar Man from Central Park". I would like to ask all David's fans out there to write me and tell me any stories you may have about David and his playing in Central Park and how it has affected you or what it has meant to you. I've already heard some great stories, but I know there are more that I haven't heard. So if you got a story to tell about David and his music, please briefly write it out and send it to stories@thatguitarman.com . I will be contacting people from the stories submitted to interview them for possible inclusion in the film. Thank you and I look forward to seeing everyone on the hill this summer.
