Okay!

If you missed yesterday's popular update that rocketed around the internet, you can still catch it by clicking on this link. Yesterday is very often regarded as the anniversary of Bobby Kennedy's assassination. But, he actually died today. So, you might check that out if you missed it.

BUT, TODAY I HAFTA ASK....

So, what're you doin' tomorrow night!?

Yeah, yeah... tomorrow is gonna be one of those hot, hazy Saturday afternoons that I'm not gonna be able to hang out with you in the park like I usually do. (The permit office is withholding our Special Events permit once a month for no discernible reason.)

BUT... that means it's time for the JUNE CONCERT!

If you're gonna be in town you're not gonna wanna miss this one. I mean, if you've ever been to one of these things you know what a good, good feeling happens in the concert hall.

You can either reserve seats right now, or just show up tomorrow night a little early. (Doors open at 7:30) WE ADDED SOME EXTRA SEATS THIS WEEK!!! And a lot of you guys know... there isn't a bad seat in this comfortably intimate house. Bring some friends.

This concert is gonna be a blast. Dodger (Roger Bartlett) (Jimmy Buffet's original guitar player) is gonna sit in once again. Janet Kirker and David Marcus are gonna share the stage with me again. And I'm gonna get to introduce you all to a new young singer/songwriter I think you're gonna love.

Julie Kathryn

We're gonna have a great time!

By the way... if you've never been to one of these gigs, this brand new music venue is also really easy to get to from, like EVERYWHERE in the city. The #1 train stops at 103rd Street. And, the C & B lines also stop at 103 on Central Park West.

.
H.I New York Performance Hall - Amsterdam Ave @ 103rd Street

So like I said, I'm thinking that you can either reserve some seats right now by clicking on this link...

...or, you'll probably just be able to show up about a half hour before we crank up and buy seats right at the door that night. (We'll see what happens.)

But, either way. DON'T GET SOLD OUT OF THIS ONE! Seating at H.I.N.Y. is general admission and ALL the seats are only $20. (Reserving seats this way puts your name and the number of seats on the list at the door that night. All you hafta do is SHOW UP!)

SATURDAY NIGHT, June 7th - 8:00

IF YOU'RE NEW AROUND HERE... go ahead and click on this link to hit the "Archive" page". There's a lot of cool stuff on this site. (Photoshop images, political cartoons, FREE songs to download. A whole bunch of podcasts to catch up on.)

Knock yourself out. Also... I wanna give you guys some FREE downloads of a couple more songs I'm working on. Y'know... works-in-progress. AND, a couple of the more socially-minded or socially conscious songs I've done recently. (Click on the links and they're yours, okay?

Crazy on the Same Day (re-mastered) - Tom Cruise Scares Me (A recent version)

Bill O'Reilly: The Legend of the Big Giant Head

And, another new one....

Okay... I'm gonna keep this short today. I hafta get to work doing what I'm supposed to do...

Comforting the disturbed and--- disturbing the comfortable.

See you TOMORROW NIGHT!!!!!

RESERVE YOUR SEATS FOR THE CONCERT!!!

Thanks for everything.

A note from filmmaker Dean Love...

As you may know I am producing a documentary about "That Guitar Man from Central Park". I would like to ask all David's fans out there to write me and tell me any stories you may have about David and his playing in Central Park and how it has affected you or what it has meant to you. I've already heard some great stories, but I know there are more that I haven't heard. So if you got a story to tell about David and his music, please briefly write it out and send it to stories@thatguitarman.com . I will be contacting people from the stories submitted to interview them for possible inclusion in the film. Thank you and I look forward to seeing everyone on the hill this summer.
