So, let's get out to "The Hill" and start singing by 12:30
This primarily affects those of you here in New York City who are planning to head to Central Park to hang with me today. But, I kinda of have a little advice for all of you from across the country and all around the world as well.
If your mother ever told you that the most dangerous place to stand in a lightning storm is in an open field or under a tree...
...she lied to you.
I think the most dangerous place might be standing by a lake in front of a live microphone.
But, I'm gonna head out there anyway.
I really need to be sharing some music and laughs with you guys. Something really cool happens every week. The people are great. The feeling is extraordinary. And... y'never know who might show up.
(Kidding, of course. But, wouldn't that be kinda cool.)
As a "possibility-junkie" I'm always looking forward to the possibility of tomorrow. And hopefully, I've learned something from the experience of yesterday that remains in my mind and in my heart. It's all cool.
Good news is I got started writing again. This is a very interesting time in human history. (Like there is ever a time that isn't - when we're really paying attention!!!)Got a new video posted here today that you might wanna take a look at!
I've said this often... art is very often a tool. It's most often a "mirror" to help reflect the world around us. But sometimes, it's also a "hammer" that helps shape the world around us.
You young guns out there! You singer/songwriters under 30 years old!
(And, if you're NOT a songwriter, but happen to know any songwriters who might wanna hear this song's message, pass it along to them today, okay? Then have them send me their tracks. I'm thinking about a new project.)
It'll be fun!
Hey! Y'know... I'm the guy who wrote "Crazy on the Same Day" - "The Perfect Girl for Me" - "Singin' in Central Park"
... and lots of other songs that'll hopefully make you smile. I'm more excited than ever to be a "possibility-junkie".
Okay, HERE'S TODAY'S VIDEO I PROMISED.
Besides writing songs and giving you guys some free downloads here at the site, I wanna also make it a little bit easier for all of us to "pay attention". (Everybody's lives are so busy!) So, I wanna do something a little different this summer.
And that includes this!!!
I'm gonna see if I can start posting some things that you might be interested in seeing. (PLEASE take a few minutes each day to pay attention, okay?) I'm also looking forward to receiving your email-reactions to this kinda thing. I'll post some of your replies and comments here at the site like we did in the early days of thatguitarman.com
Y'see... I say this all the time. I work out of my home. I update this website from here. I write songs at home. I produce concerts and events from here. But, that means I get to watch a lot of CSPAN. Y'know? The real thing.
BUT, this comment was actually from a cable "news" show. (It's in 2 parts)

Then... let me know what you think and how you feel.
Cool?
Hope I see you out there in Central Park today!
Thanks for everything.
