Hey...

Welcome to the website. Welcome to a new week.

I'm feelin' really good today. We had a great time together this past Saturday night at H.I. New York Performance Hall. But, I'm already lookin' forward to this coming Saturday back out in Central Park with all of you here in town.

And, after the good, good feeling I got to share with every person who showed up at the concert this weekend I can honestly say.... I'm more excited than ever to be a "possibility-junkie".

I've got work to do.

Hey, first... I wanted to post this photo somebody sent me from two weekends ago.

I don't know if you were there when that lovely couple got up and started dancing in the middle of the path as I played that sweet James Taylor tune. And, this photo might look like I'm excruciating pain. But, the Truth is... I was laughing hysterically because right in the middle of the song a novice roller-blader came flying down the path, spun out and nearly wiped out just before he nearly took that couple out.... HARD!

(They didn't even see him and kept on dancing in each other's arms, oblivious to the fact that they were nearly knocked on the asses!)

I love moments like this... and I love this town!

Okay, time to get back to work. Besides writing songs and giving you guys some free downloads here at the site, I wanna also make it a little bit easier for you guys to "pay attention". (Everybody's lives are so busy!) So, I wanna do something a little different this summer.

And that includes this!!!

I'm gonna see if I can start posting some things that you might be interested in seeing. (PLEASE take a few minutes each day to pay attention, okay?) I'm also looking forward to receiving your email-reactions to this kinda thing. I'll post some of your replies and comments here at the site like we did in the early days of thatguitarman.com

Y'see... I say this all the time. I work out of my home. I update this website from here. I write songs at home. I produce concerts and events from here. but, that means I get to watch a lot of CSPAN. Y'know? That way... I'm a lucky man. I get to see what's really going on without relying on the silly, silly circus that network and cable news has become.

Here's a video of Senator Sheldon Whitehouse. (I'm becoming so impressed with this man.)

Then... let me know what you think and how you feel.

Cool?

I'll see you guys in the park this Saturday!

Thanks for everything.

A note from filmmaker Dean Love...

As you may know I am producing a documentary about "That Guitar Man from Central Park". I would like to ask all David's fans out there to write me and tell me any stories you may have about David and his playing in Central Park and how it has affected you or what it has meant to you. I've already heard some great stories, but I know there are more that I haven't heard. So if you got a story to tell about David and his music, please briefly write it out and send it to stories@thatguitarman.com . I will be contacting people from the stories submitted to interview them for possible inclusion in the film. Thank you and I look forward to seeing everyone on the hill this summer.
- Dean
