Well, once again... I know there are people reading this in different parts of the country and different parts of the world. But, here in New York City, HOLY SMOKES! What a beautiful day! I'm really keeping my fingers crossed that this weather holds up for the weekend so we can get back out to "The Hill" in Central Park to begin another season.

And, yeah.... I've been telling you that I'll have an announcement about the next concert at the brand new H.I. New York Performance Hall. But, I'm just waiting for a confirmation on the dates. I'm thinking that it'll probably be on Friday Night, June 6th. (Maybe Saturday night June 7th.... we'll see.)

Does that sound cool for you guys?

If you're gonna be in or around NYC and wanna make that show, I will be letting you know very, very soon if it's a GO! And at the same time, I'll ask webmaster James Marino to set up that PayPal account so that you can reserve seats in advance and you don't run the risk of getting sold out of this one.

If you were at the last gig you met a brand new artist named Galia Arad. (The audience fell in LOVE with her that night.)

Galia Arad

Well, this next concert I'm gonna be introducing you all to another new young female artist that H.I. New York GM, Tim Westwig, told me about.

Her name is Julie Kathryn and her music is... well, it's the real thing. I'm gonna be excited to introduce her to a whole new audience.

So, keep checking back here and I'll let you know if the concert is ON in a very little while.

Cool?

AND, FOR THOSE OF YOU OUT ON LONG ISLAND!

Here's a flyer about something I'm gonna do out on the Island later this month.. It's got all the correct information on it. In case you live out there and you missed the initial announcement, I was asked by this really nice guy to be a part of a benefit concert to raise money to help fight a horrible, horrible disease... ALS. (Or, Lou Gerhig's Disease)

Now, here's the thing. Last week I said it was in Wantagh. It's not. It's in Centereach. Okay? As it gets closer, I'll tell you a personal story about ALS, how it relates to "The Hill in Central Park and why I was so honored to be asked to help out. (PLUS, I think it's gonna be a really fun show.)

Okay, I'm outta here.

See you tomorrow.

Thanks for everything.

A note from filmmaker Dean Love...

As you may know I am producing a documentary about "That Guitar Man from Central Park". I would like to ask all David's fans out there to write me and tell me any stories you may have about David and his playing in Central Park and how it has affected you or what it has meant to you. I've already heard some great stories, but I know there are more that I haven't heard. So if you got a story to tell about David and his music, please briefly write it out and send it to stories@thatguitarman.com . I will be contacting people from the stories submitted to interview them for possible inclusion in the film. Thank you and I look forward to seeing everyone on the hill this summer.
