Y'know?

I've been talking about doing something like posting a gallery of some of the political cartoons and photoshop images I've done here at the website over the past few years. I thought today I might give you guys a sample of some of them. (A little further down the page.)

But, first I hafta tell you that... YES. I'll be out in Central Park with you guys again this coming Saturday. (Weather permitting, of course.)

BUT... that doesn't mean you're not gonna wanna show up at the next "indoor" concert at H.I. New York Performance Hall on the Upper West Side of Manhattan. It's now less than 3 weeks away.

SATURDAY NIGHT, JUNE 7th

Y'see, the Permit Office at The Parks Department is giving us a little bit of a hard time about our Special Events Permits this summer. (Not at all like the agreement Park Administrator Doug Blonskey and I shook hands on back in 2000) But, I ain't lettin' it get to me. I'm an artist, not a politician or a bureaucrat. I've already been told we're not gonna get a Special Events Permit for Saturday, June 7th!!!

So, I decided to put up another one of our concerts in the newest music venue on the Upper West side - H.I. New York Performance Hall. (You might wanna start thinking about calling a few friends and reserving seats now.)

You can do that right here... right now if you want. Today! You know the deal! We just hang out and sing, make it up as we go along, make it all about the music and well... y'know, "It's just us". I'm gonna roll out few brand new songs that are still kinda works-in-progress. I'm gonna introduce you all to a new female artist.... Julie Kathryn.

DON'T GET SOLD OUT OF THIS ONE! Seating at H.I.N.Y. is general admission and ALL the seats are only $20. Here's the link to reserve seats and get your name put on the list at the door:

SATURDAY NIGHT, June 7th - 8:00

Roger Bartlett will be there, and Janet Kirker and Dave Marcus. And hopefully YOU. It's actually only about 3 weeks away!

Really hope you call a few friends and decide to hang with me for a night of music and laughs.

.

OKAY!!!

NOW... here's a random mish-mosh of a bunch of ridiculous things that have been posted here in the past. Let me know if you dig this kinda thing and I'll do more of it. (I'm gonna be making more songs available as FREE downloads as well.)

WELL, THAT'S JUST A SAMPLE!!!

Let me know if you enjoy this kinda thing... if you like the idea of grabbing these images and sending them to your friends - and even people you DON'T like!

Y'know?

Email me if you have any reactions to any of these images, good or bad.

Ha! If any of these images piss you off, definitely email me and let me know why! Because if that's the case, I'm fascinated by you!

Okay... I gotta get back to work.

I hope I see you in the park this Saturday and at H.I. New York Performance Hall on June 7th.

Thanks for everything.

All outdoor events are weather permitting! Stop by the website before you go if it is questionable.

A note from filmmaker Dean Love...

As you may know I am producing a documentary about "That Guitar Man from Central Park". I would like to ask all David's fans out there to write me and tell me any stories you may have about David and his playing in Central Park and how it has affected you or what it has meant to you. I've already heard some great stories, but I know there are more that I haven't heard. So if you got a story to tell about David and his music, please briefly write it out and send it to stories@thatguitarman.com . I will be contacting people from the stories submitted to interview them for possible inclusion in the film. Thank you and I look forward to seeing everyone on the hill this summer.
