LAST NIGHT! OPENING DAY UP AT YANKEE STADIUM!

Yankees win!
As Joe Torre used to say, "Y'can't win 'em all... if you don't win the first one!"
So, here we go again.
Whew!
So glad April fool's Day is over!
(If you don't know why, check out yesterday's update. More about that further down the page.)
Now, I can get back to being the real me... the real David, "That Guitar Man from Central Park".

Okay! So, enough of that vote Republican shit! Welcome back to reality! Sorry if I gave you a heart attack yesterday. (Believe me, I still know that the Republicans, with quite a bit of complicity from some Democrats, are responsible for assaulting our Constitution, dismantling basic American principle, and fucking up this country and the world in ways we could have only imagined in nightmares years ago. I'm back on it!) Oh... and I still know Bill O'Reilly is a man with a twisted mind, a inflated ego and is a complete and utter lightweight. (That photo I posted yesterday gave ME the creeps!)
So... welcome back to a place where we're all about music... and Truth and Reason, and hope and Love and Peace. Y'know, the good stuff. A place where - it's just us. A place where...
"I Love the Company"
(Click on that link for a FREE download of the song.)
I'm gonna welcome us all back with some great images... to ease the pain... further down the page!
GOT BIG NEWS ABOUT A VERY COOL THING TO DO THIS FRIDAY NIGHT!!!
This Friday night at 7:30, at H.I. New York Performance Hall we're gonna shoot the very first segment of the new show ""What's Behind the Song".
Okay, y'know that show on Bravo called "Inside the Actor's Studio". Well, this is gonna be like that... only more fun... and all about music people. This is gonna be about the people who make music, the people who love music, the people who've made a life in music. It's gonna be all about you guys in the studio audience asking questions and making comments. It's all about the mysterious Creative process.

Hopefully, this intimate studio audience will include fellow-singer/songwriters, people from the music business, legendary promoter Sid Bernstein... and YOU.
If you're not already holding your ticket, you can still be a part of this special night. There are still seats available. (Every seat is just $10 - general admission.) Click on this button to place your name on the guest list at the door:
My first guest interview is a great guy, gifted songwriter and a guy with a very, very interesting career in music... Mr. Jake Holmes.

Okay now... the doors will open at 7:00 and he show will kick off at 7:30. This will be a "pilot" of sorts for th series. It will be recorded and the series of hows will either be shopped to a network or streamed independently over the internet. (That way all of you who visit this website from different parts off the country and different parts of the world can also be a part of this.
Very cool.
I'll be back really soon with a couple of new podcasts - playing a whole bunch of YOUR phone calls and comments. Here's the number of YOU wanna say something:
646-224-8162
And I'll leave you today with some images to help get that rotten taste out of your mouth from yesterday's fake update.
