Well, okay...

THIS THURSDAY NIGHT!!!

You can reserve seats here today... right now if you want.

We're gettin' together for a night of singin' and laughs.

This weekend, yeah man! Over 70 degrees and sunny on Saturday. But, without the Special Events permits in hand, we can't start another summer together in Central Park. But, y'know what? This year there's a whole lot more goin' on than just singin' at "The Hill".

For one thing... this Thursday, just 4 nights from tonight, we'll all be getting together to do a ridiculously fun, great vocal warm-up for the summer. THIS IS GONNA BE A BLAST! (Tell you all about that in just a minute.)

FIRST... here at "That Guitar Man" we wanna say good bye to The Pope.

Yesterday he headed up to Yankees Stadium. Last night after he said his mass, he was actually included in the lineup for one at bat. Now, I'm not saying he gets any extra help or anything... but, he went yard on the first pitch he saw. Listen, okay. It was a monster shot over the left-center field wall. He really crushed it. But, still... that's no reason to showboat at the plate! I don't care who he is.

We're used this kinda crap from Manny Ramirez.... but, The Pope?!!

Too bad he's not gonna be in town on Thursday night. I invited him to show up at H.I. New York Performance Hall, but he said he hadda get back to the Vatican. (He said he forgot to arrange for someone to water his plants.)

Tough for him. He's gonna miss... our "Spring Vocal Warm-Up Concert"

This one's gonna be something a little special... a little different. It'll be a night where the focus is gonna be on YOU guys. Your singing! The whole program is gonna be about getting your vocal chords and spirit in shape for the summer. We'll pull out a whole bunch of songs that you've sung in the past, and newer songs you will be singing this summer in Central Park for all the people from all across the country and all around the world who join us there!

And, I think we might have a couple of special guests in the audience this Thursday. So, it'll be a good chance for you to show off. and, if you care about what's gonna happen in Central Park this summer, show up with a few friends.

Seriously.

This coming Thursday night at 7:30. (General admission again - doors open at 7:00)

Okay! But tickets for this show are only $15 instead of $20.

Cool! So, this might sell out. (I mean, y'never know!)

So, here... if you wanna make sure you have a seat reserved click on this link and reserve a seat!

(This puts your name on the list at the door. Just show up!)

Do me a favor though. CALL A FEW FRIENDS AND BRING THEM!!! The more people singing in this new venue the greater this gig is gonna be. It' all about havin' a blast... singing out, singing well, singing really badly, singing without embarrassment, bein' stupid, being cool.... just lettin' it rip!

You can reserve your seats today right here ONLINE!

The Pope won't be there. But YOU shouldn't miss it!!!

Gotta say, it was kinda cool to have him come out to Central Park on Friday, away from all the cameras, for his little make-believe concert. (The man said he really wanted to sing "Crazy on the Same Day" with me. Kind of a dream of his, and I was happy to oblige. He even pretended all of you were cheering him on. Very cute.)

Okay, moving on...

Here are the most recent podcasts!!!

HERE'S THE MOST RECENT EPISODE OF THE ORIGINAL PODCAST:

A note from filmmaker Dean Love...

As you may know I am producing a documentary about "That Guitar Man from Central Park". I would like to ask all David's fans out there to write me and tell me any stories you may have about David and his playing in Central Park and how it has affected you or what it has meant to you. I've already heard some great stories, but I know there are more that I haven't heard. So if you got a story to tell about David and his music, please briefly write it out and send it to stories@thatguitarman.com . I will be contacting people from the stories submitted to interview them for possible inclusion in the film. Thank you and I look forward to seeing everyone on the hill this summer.
