Well, it's kind of another dreary start to the day here in The Big Apple. Feels a little more like autumn than Spring right now.

But, keep your fingers crossed for this coming weekend.

I don't know... The Weather Channel is calling for rain, rain and more rain. I don't see it on the radar yet. But, there might be a low forming over the middle of the country in which case our first weekend might get rained out.

Don't sweat it. I'm as anxious as you to get back out to Central Park for another great summer. We'll get out there this weekend or soon.

I say how lucky I am all the time. But, it's really been hitting me in the heart lately.

You can't believe how grateful I am to be called "That Guitar Man from Central Park". And, it's really all because of you. Y'know? It's you guys who visit this website regularly, who reach out and let me know if a song I've written has touched you in some way, who've let me know it's a worthwhile thing to do with a life - to write songs and head out to the park - to strap my guitar onto my shoulder and hang with you in the middle of the greatest city in the world - share some music, some thoughts, some laughs.

Sometimes I get a little squirrely.

Y'know? I guess a certain level of ego or discontentment rises up inside me. I begin to doubt my work. I question my purpose as an artist. I wonder if I'm destined somehow to wallow in poverty and relative professional obscurity for a lifetime. I get weary

But, then... Ha! I realize that's absolute bullshit.

I'm the luckiest man alive.

This is gonna be another typically amazing summer.

What I'm trying to say... again... is THANKS.
