So, The Pope... up at Yankees Stadium today.

I'll really get into that in a minute further down this page. (And, I'll have more on it tomorrow for sure!)

FIRST... I gotta ask you. Are you a little pissed off that we weren't able to sing in Central Park during this incredibly beautiful weekend!

Well, this coming Thursday Night!

"THE SPRING VOCAL WARM-UP CONCERT"

It's just us!

This is gonna be cool! And, it's something I've never done before. Y'know, hopefully we're about to kick off another summer in Central Park. Thursday night I'll fill you in about what I think might happen at "The Hill" this summer. But for the past 17 years out there, we hang together and sing old songs, new songs, original songs, beautiful songs... stupid songs.

This THURSDAY NIGHT if you're not doing anything, grab a couple of friends. (Or come by yourself an make a new friend.) We'll do an entire night of singing.... YOU GUYS singing. See all the same beautiful faces you see around you all summer in Central Park. Y'know, I'll devote an entire night just to letting us raise the roof. We'll roll out all the songs we sing for the tourists and all the people from across the country and around the world who will undoubtedly be hangin' with us in the park this year as well.

Kind of a ridiculous rehearsal!!! (Maybe we'll come up with a couple of "bits" or practical jokes we can play on them as well. We'll see.)

Now... the tickets for this gig are only $15 instead of $20. (Because it's on a Thursday instead of Saturday night.) So, you might wanna go ahead and reserve your seats right now by clicking on this button. The place only holds 150 people.

.

.

Or, just make a few phone calls today or tomorrow and gather a few people to head up there Thursday night.

CHECK BACK TOMORROW.

I WILL HAVE MORE ABOUT THE POPE'S VISIT!!!

I'm intrigued by the 24 hour news coverage and the over-the-top nature of the whole silly thing. One thing I can say with certainty.... I'm pretty nervous for the Yankees now that another Pope paid a visit to their house.

Past papal masses weren't necessarily as good for Yankees fans as for local religious types. Back in 1965, when Pope Paul VI said Mass, the Yankees finished under .500 for the first time since 1925.

Fourteen years later, Pope John Paul II said a mass in a year when the Yankees finished out of the playoffs after back-to-back world championships. It was the same year Yankee captain Thurman Munson died in a plane crash.

Oy!!!

Moving on.

HERE'S THE MOST RECENT EPISODE OF THE ORIGINAL PODCAST:

"I Love the Company" (Show #364)

I'm playing a song requested by a listener... a song by a fellow-artist ad friend who will certainly be a guest artist joining me on stage at H.I. New York Performance Hall.

Just click on the logo, plug in your headphones, jam in your earbuds or turn on your speakers and listen. (You can always subscribe to the show and get it automatically by hitting that itunes button over there.)

SHOW 364

Cool? My musical guest on ILTC: Karlus Trapp (Click on his photo to visit his website, find out more about him, where he's playing, and how to get his music.)

AND NOW... the brand new installment of the sister-podcast, the more politically-minded and socially conscious sister podcast called "Where's the Voice". Today, we'll play a couple of tracks of music and go with last week's noise from Bill Clinton to General Petraeus. And once again, I'm gonna play SOME OF YOUR PHONE COMMENTS!!!
