Okay! Let's get back to the podcasts today. Playing some of your phone calls and comments. Playing a caller's request. And talkin' about the concert that's comin' up here in New York City a week from this Saturday night!
Although I hafta say... it's not the same hangin' out with you guys online as it is hangin' out in person!

Quickly first!
My friend and colleague Christine Lavin emialed me over the weekend and told me she'd love to show up and do a couple of tunes at the gig on March 29th. So, besides my very special guest, Galia, Chris is gonna be there, too!
I can't wait.
Ah, speaking of "I Can't Wait"... Janet Kirker and Dave Marcus are also gonna be sharing the stage again. (More about the concert and how you can reserve seats today a little further down the page.)

NOW... the sister-podcast to the original. This show, I'm passionate about hearing from you guys today. Here it is... the most recent installment of the more politically-minded and socially conscious podcast, "Where's the Voice".
Wrote that new song... ELECTION YEAR! It's still a work-in-progress. Really want you to call the show and have some fun! I wanna know how you feel about this song! Click on this logo to listen to the song.

I'm sure this song will change a little bit before I do it LIVE at H.I.N.Y. But, let me know what you think of the spirit of the track.
Very, very cool.

ALL ABOUT THE CONCERT
DON'T GET SOLD OUT! The concert is 10 days away. So, you might wanna call a few friends and reserve your seats sooner than later. There's gonna be a large percentage of artists in the audience as well. That's kinda part of what this is all about - - spawning a community of artists in a brand new music hall on the Upper West side of Manhattan where I can feature different artists each concert and alternately shoot the in-depth and irreverent, really fun concept of an interview show called "What's Behind the Song". Hopefully, that'll include music makers of all kinds... famous, unknown, new , old, young, quirky, audacious, traditional.
Very cool.
Like this next show which is one week from this Saturday night!
.
My two musical guests, Christine Lavin and Galia - and maybe a couple of surprises.
So, now besides having a really wonderful new young singer/songwriter named Galia as my first musical guest, Christine's said she's on board to show up and do a couple of songs. (This is gonna be sooooo fucking cool.)
So, seriously... if you are free Saturday night, March 29th, call a few friends and reserve some seats for yourselves as soon as you can. This one is gonna be something special. (Mainly because this venue and this idea is still such a baby. New stuff like this in a great city like this is always exciting.) AND if you come to the gig on the 29th, you'll get a ticket to attend the very first "What's Behind the Song" for FREE.
Cool?
Here... click on this thing to reserve as many seats as you want. The tickets started selling well this weekend. If you wanna reserve seats for the concert, you can do it right now. (Reserving seats this way puts your name on the list at the door!)
.
This is the new music hall in Manhattan. Let's make it our home... a central place for new music and artists!
.
H.I New York Performance Hall - Amsterdam Ave @ 103rd Street
AGAIN! This concert is on a SATURDAY night! (March 29th - 7:30)
See you there!
Thanks for everything.
