Hey! Glad you showed up today!!!

The tickets for the next concert are starting to sell. (The gig is 2 weeks from this Saturday night.)

Now, there are about 120 tickets left. But, if you wanna make sure you reserve your seats, you oughta call your friends, make plans for that night and reserve seats soon. This show is gonna be a blast. I have a great guest artist. Plus, it's always a cool thing to hang out in a music hall with a lot of the same faces you see all summer in Central Park.

Y'know what?

Before we get to anything else, allow me to post another little video clip from the very first concert at H.I.N.Y Performance Hall last month. This was a cover of Cat Stevens' great song, "Peace Train".

On Saturday night, March 29th I'm gonna be joined on stage by David Marcus, Janet Kirker and a special guest artist, singer/songwriter... GALIA.

Galia

I'm lookin' forward to introducing Galia to a whole new audience.

I'm also thinkin' I'm gonna be rolling out at least 2 brand new songs of my own that night, maybe 3. One of the new tracks... well... I did a little rough, scratch track demo of the tune and it's here for you guys to listen to and let me know what you think about the subject matter. Gimme a shout, leave a comment... let me know how you feel about what the song says, okay? Man! I wrote this little song to be as fair minded and pointed as I'm capable of being.... so, it'll probably piss off everybody! Gonna be fun to try it out LIVE. Here's my phone number.

I'm sure this song will change a little bit before I do it LIVE at H.I.N.Y. But, let me know what you think of the spirit of the track.

Y'know what!? The next concert is less than 3 weeks away. It's on Saturday night, March 29th - 7:30. MAKE SURE YOU GET YOUR SEATS SOON AND DON'T GET SOLD OUT!

The tickets are on sale right now. This gig is gonna be fun. Janet Kirker and David Marcus are gonna share the stage with me again. Everybody in the room is gonna be singin'. And, I'm gonna introduce you guys to a new, young singer/songwriter named Galia. (More about her in a minute.) You can go ahead and reserve seats today by clicking on this link.

(The first show very nearly sold-out, and this one has already started selling.)

(Reserving seats this way puts your name on the list at the door!) Just a little bit about the new venue in which we're doing the concert series. It's a a new and undiscovered venue right here on the Upper Westside of Manhattan. I mean, this building was originally a home for Civil War widows, built in 1861. It's a spectacular old building that's been renovated by a guy named Tim of H.I. New York... perfectly suited to the kind of thing we like to do, sharing music and laughs.

AGAIN! IT'S ON A SATURDAY NIGHT! (March 29th - 7:30)

And if you buy tickets for this gig, I'm gonna make a special deal for all of you to attend the very first edition of the LIVE version of "What's Behind the Song" the very next weekend with special guest, Jake Holmes. (More about that on the podcasts.)

Very, very cool.

A note from filmmaker Dean Love...

As you may know I am producing a documentary about "That Guitar Man from Central Park". I would like to ask all David's fans out there to write me and tell me any stories you may have about David and his playing in Central Park and how it has affected you or what it has meant to you. I've already heard some great stories, but I know there are more that I haven't heard. So if you got a story to tell about David and his music, please briefly write it out and send it to stories@thatguitarman.com . I will be contacting people from the stories submitted to interview them for possible inclusion in the film. Thank you and I look forward to seeing everyone on the hill this summer.
