New artist I want you to get to know.

Galia
Gonna be my guest at the next "indoor gig!!!!
But first.... whoa!!!
I'm finally feelin' better!
Damn!
Has anybody else had this particular strain of whatever-the-hell virus this is that just messed with you enough to keep you barely miserable for 2 weeks or so? Just a pain in the ass. (Actually, I had a low-grade fever and a monster headache for about a week... and, I DON'T get headaches.)
But, it lifted yesterday, so I'm gonna try to get back on track around here. I thought I'd start reminding you guys about 2 really, really cool things that are comin' up. Got a new concert coming up with my first guest artist in a series of gigs featuring lots of new talent. And... the LIVE version of the segment "What's Behind the Song" is finally becoming a reality. (I'm gonna work out a kind of a 2-for-1 deal as far as tickets for that AND the next gig on March 29th. Tell you about that soon.) Listen, I know a lot of you are reading this in different parts of the country or different parts of the world. But, here in New York City, this'll be something kinda cool to do on a March night. Seriously... I have great hopes for this brand new music venue in this historic New York building on Amsterdam Ave. And, guess what? This gig is gonna be the very first of it's kind in that room.
.
H.I. New York Performance Hall - - Amsterdam Ave. @ 103rd Street
IF YOU WANT TO MAKE SURE YOU DON'T GET SOLD OUT of this special gig.... you can reserve your seats right now by clicking on this PayPal thing. (That puts your names on the guest list at the door!)
Really hope you call a few friends and decide to hang with me for a night of music and laughs. We're gonna have a good time. (If you were at the "Year-End Concert" you know what we're all about. If you missed it, here's your chance.)
Before go any further... to get you in the mood, let me just load you up with a few video clips from the first concert we did at the brand new H.I.New York Performance Hall last month.
First up is the lovely and talented Janet Kirker joining me for the very first time on a song from the "Common Ground" album.

Janet singing "Did You Fall in Love Again"
And, these are several other clips form the gig. Enjoy 'em. Click on these images to watch the videos. The first one contains the brand new verse in song that won't go away.... "Tom Cruise Scares Me". (It's dedicated to John McCain.)

Cruise... with the new McCain verse
.
"Crazy on the Same Day"... and a great song to close out the night... "This Moment"
Okay.... I'm gonna get to work on the new podcasts. I'll be back in a little while.
But, listen.... the NEXT CONCERT is on Saturday Night, March 29th. That's only about 3 weeks away. The tickets are on sale right now. (Just click on that PayPal button over there on the right of this page to reserve as many seats as you want.)
My guest artist at this next gig is a brilliant, audacious and (I think) enigmatic young songwriter named Galia.

You are sooooo gonna dig her music! Start thinkin' about reserving seats... like... um... really soon. The last gig was very, very close to a sell-out and I think this one will definitely fill early. Once again, Sid Bernstein, the man who brought The Beatles to America, is behind this gig and he'll be there in the audience that night.

There is a brand new episode of the podcast "I Love the Company" here today, and I'll tell you all about this next concert, okay? (And, if you're new around here, or if you've never been to one of these concerts where we use the PayPal System for reserving seats, I'll tell you how all that works. Cool?
HERE'S THE MOST RECENT EPISODE OF THE ORIGINAL PODCAST:
"I Love the Company" (Show #362)
