Welcome to LEEEEAP Day!

An extra day.

(Ha! An extra day to put off paying the rent, anyway!)

Don't get me wrong. I love my life! I love being "That Guitar Man from Central Park". I love being an independent artist an a singer/songwriter who is completely cool with being a self-avowed "possibility-junkie".

But, once in a while it's okay to admit... THE CASH AND PRIZES WOULD BE OKAY RIGHT ABOUT NOW, TOO!

But, onto the next... the next... the next thang!

And, that's the concert that's coming up at the end of March. It will be the first concert in the Spring of 2008. (Damn! That sounds good.) At that gig, I'm gonna be promoting the very first LIVE edition of "What's Behind the Song".

Y'know what? I'll talk about it on the new podcasts. I'm gonna get to work right now so I can have 2 new podcasts ready for you to listen to this weekend. In the meantime, here's another clip from the concert last weekend. (Man! We had a good, good time.) We'll do it again on March 29th.

Click on these images to watch the videos. The first one contains the brand new verse in song that won't go away.... "Tom Cruise Scares Me". (It's dedicated to John McCain.)

Cruise... with the new McCain verse

.
"Crazy on the Same Day"... and a great song to close out the night... "This Moment"

Okay.... I'm gonna get to work on the new podcasts.

I'll be back in a little while.

If you wanna listen to any of the recent podcasts, or ALL of them, just hit that "Archives" button over there and... BROWSE!

See you in a little while.

Thanks for everything.

A note from filmmaker Dean Love...

As you may know I am producing a documentary about "That Guitar Man from Central Park". I would like to ask all David's fans out there to write me and tell me any stories you may have about David and his playing in Central Park and how it has affected you or what it has meant to you. I've already heard some great stories, but I know there are more that I haven't heard. So if you got a story to tell about David and his music, please briefly write it out and send it to stories@thatguitarman.com . I will be contacting people from the stories submitted to interview them for possible inclusion in the film. Thank you and I look forward to seeing everyone on the hill this summer.
