Got a lot to get to today here at the website. I've got a concert coming up in 3 weeks, here in New York City. We're gonna do what we always do when we hang together in Central Park
Share music and a lotta laughs. I'd love it if YOU were a part of it. It's on a Saturday night. Very cool.
I'm such a lucky man to have such a cool, under-the-radar following of great people like you. I mean, over the years I'm sure I've shared my songs and ideas with hundreds and hundreds of thousands of people from across this country and different parts of the world.
Well, this upcoming concert is gonna be the very, very first concert in a brand new music venue on the Upper West Side of Manhattan... "The H.I. New York Performance Hall". (I hope this place quickly becomes one of those best-known New York Secrets I'm always talkin' about.) You can show up the night of the show and take your chances, or you can reserve seats for you and your friends right now, right here. ALL seats are only $20 and there ain't a bad seat in this beautiful, comfortable hall. (It's also a hostel where hundreds of young people who are traveling the world stay while here in The Big Apple. So, we'll still be reaching a global audience... standing still!
I'll give you a link to order tickets in a minute.
BUT FIRST... I WANNA LET YOU KNOW THAT THERE WILL BE 2 NEW PODCASTS HERE AGAIN THIS WEEKEND!
"I Love the Company" is a lot like most of the gigs I do... y'know? Music, Life, Love, Laughter.
But, "Where's the Voice" is about social consciousness, Truth, conscience, politics... and music's place in it all. The installment that's here right now is the episode from Super Tuesday. But I wanted to share this new music video with you while I'm working on getting a new podcast ready for the weekend. I think it's... brilliantly done.
Okay...
Here's the link to get your seats for my concert on Saturday, February 23

Okay, first up... (This was the show from SUPER TUESDAY earlier this week.) ... the more politically-minded and socially conscious podcast called "Where's the Voice"
Really want you to call the show and have some fun! I wanna know how you feel about this topic!
Do you care who Oprah Winfrey is voting for? Or, George Clooney? Or Eddie Murphy?
On this week's show, we're talking about celebrity endorsements!
Anyway, just click on the logo, plug in your headphones, jam in your earbuds or turn on your speakers and listen. (You can always subscribe to the show and get it automatically by hitting that itunes button over there.)

It's a fun show, so on this week's installment I'm gonna play one of the more fun... more fun... funner? Funner? Yeah, I think "funner" is actually correct. (Sounds funny.)
Huh.
Anyway... gonna play "Where'dat Money Go?"
Then on the original podcast "I Love the Company" I'm gonna try to start catching up with some of your phone calls from here in New York City, across the country and around the world.

As you may know I am producing a documentary about "That Guitar Man from Central Park". I would like to ask all David's fans out there to write me and tell me any stories you may have about David and his playing in Central Park and how it has affected you or what it has meant to you. I've already heard some great stories, but I know there are more that I haven't heard. So if you got a story to tell about David and his music, please briefly write it out and send it to stories@thatguitarman.com . I will be contacting people from the stories submitted to interview them for possible inclusion in the film. Thank you and I look forward to seeing everyone on the hill this summer. - Dean
