Okay... well, it was an amazingly wonderful week. It really was a kick.
I got to spend a week with a guitar on my shoulder, sharing music and laughs with 600 open-hearted, beautiful people on an island paradise in a part of the world called the Turks & Caicos Islands.

Yes. It really looks like this.
And, besides playing my music, introducing my songs to a whole new audience of people and eating waaaaayyyy too much great food all week... I also got to hang with and get to know so many great people of all ages, from all across this country and several different countries. Even got to hang for a while with one really cool guy named Logan. (He's a California dude, so I'm not sure I'll ever see Logan again. But, it was blast hangin' with him, too.)

Hey listen!
Anyone who's reading this who was on that island with me... I gotta let you know, I didn't have the patience to look through all those photos that were available. If you have any photos of me giggin' down there at Sharkie's or on the beach or on the main stage, would you be cool enough to hit the "Contact" button over there and email them to me? Maybe I'll post them right here a the website.

I played 3 gigs at Sharkie's
All in all, though, I also hafta say... I had a great week. But, I'm really lucky to LOVE the place I live. Because I'm completely jazzed to be back in New York City where I'm known around known as "That Guitar Man from Central Park".

I'm gonna be right back with another update after a little time of re-entry.
Wanna get this outta the way, though. (Just an early announcement.) It's that time of year again. ALL of the permit applications for playing in Central Park have been submitted and the checks have been written. So, if YOU feel like helping out... (And, only if you really feel like helping out.) ...here's the link you can click on to donate whatever you want to this year's PERMIT FUND.
(For a little more about the Permit Fund, look at the top right hand corner of this site.)
I'll be meeting with webmaster, evil-genius and now-new-father, James Marino a little later today to kick around a few ideas for the future of the podcasts... "I Love the Company" and "Where's the Voice".
If you're new around here, go ahead and take a look through the "Archives". But, here are the most recent installments of both shows for you to listen to. Then, check back for a new episode of each show.
There is a phone number for you to call and be a part of all of this, too. No matter where in the country or where in the world you are right now, you can pick up the phone and leave a message or a comment for me. I read every email and listen to every single call I get... might even play a few on the next podcast.
Here's the logo to click on to listen to show #354. (Seriously, plug in your headphones, jam in your earbuds or turn on your speakers and listen.) Then pick up the phone. There's a lot to discuss and choices to be made.

SHOW 354
Musical guest on today's show: A new friend and someone I wanna collaborate with in the work he's doing with people who happen to be living with AIDS - Ben Godwin. (Click on his photo to visit his website, find out more about him, where he's playing, and how to get his music.)

Also today, I have another guest in the "Songwriting Session" segment is a fellow-artist, (a fine actor who is following the little voice and venturing onto and off-ramp into songwriting) and new friend of mine, Bruce McCarty.
.
Okay, let's move on to this week's WTV. As always, on "Where's the Voice" I'm gonna be inviting you all to call in and voice YOUR opinions and feelings. We'll have a few laughs and a couple of good doses of Truth and Reason heading into this presidential election year. It's gonna be wild ride and we'll make sure your voice is heard around here! (Especially if you're an artist writing music that actually SAYS SOMETHING!) I'm answering some of your phone calls and playing a couple of really great tracks that actually have something to say about what's going on in this country. (Damn! I'm still thirsty for more music like this. Hell... that's why the show is called "WHERE'S the Voice"!)
Anyway, just click on the logo, plug in your headphones, jam in your earbuds or turn on your speakers and listen.(You can always subscribe to the show and get it automatically by hitting that itunes button over there.)
