Y'know what?

I promised a whole bunch of people that I would record a song as soon as I got back to New York City. It's the John Wallowitch song of which I re-wrote the lyrics.

This Moment.

It's a rough-scratch recording... but it's such a beautiful song I wanted to make it a FREE download for you guys as soon as I could. (I also talk about it on the podcast today. (ILTC)

I will be back in just a little while with a brand new "Where's the Voice". So, check back.

For right now...NEW Show Today. And, I'm meeting with a guy at a new venue to plan some indoor gigs here in New York City very soon.

Like I said, got a new podcast... a brand new episode of "I Love the Company" today.

But before we get to that, I wanna ask anyone who was down in the British West Indies with me to keep sending those photos. (I didn't get to bring any home with me.) This came in from Rita and Peter who were hangin' with me at the beach-side bar called Sharkies. (Not a bad gig, hah?)

Also, I'd like to announce the launch of this year's Permit Fund. (Well, it's not only for the permits to play in Central Park. It's also to keep the podcasts going.) But, the weirdest thing happened. ALLLLL the checks were cashed in the week I was in the Turks & Caicos Islands. (Early this year.) So, we'll see if Claudia Pepe and the permit office can make this go smoothly this year and just go ahead and let us do what we do every Saturday afternoon this summer.

IF YOU WANNA HELP OUT... not only with the special Events Permits, but also with the Sound Device Permits from the NYPD, just click on this link and donate whatever amount you're comfortable with.

.

Okay... LET'S GET TO THE NEW PODCAST.

Here's episode number 355. I've said this often. This website and the podcasts are kind of an extension of what I do during the warm weather here in the greatest city on earth. In the summer I get to share my music with people from all across the country and all around the world just by being "That Guitar Man from Central Park".

Y'know, after you listen to the shows today I'll give you a phone number you can use... just to day "Hi" and let us know who you are and where you are.

And on "Where's the Voice" I'm gonna be inviting you all to call in and voice YOUR opinions and feelings. We'll go out with a few laughs and a couple of good doses of Truth and Reason heading into a presidential election year. It's gonna be wild ride and we'll make sure your voice is heard around here! (Especially if you're an artist writing music that actually SAYS SOMETHING!)

So, let's start out with the original podcast... "I Love the Company" (Show #355)

Just click on the logo, plug in your headphones, jam in your earbuds or turn on your speakers and listen.(You can always subscribe to the show and get it automatically by hitting that itunes button over there.)

Okay, let's move on to this week's WTV. As always, on "Where's the Voice" I'm gonna be inviting you all to call in and voice YOUR opinions and feelings. We'll have a few laughs and a couple of good doses of Truth and Reason heading into this presidential election year. It's gonna be wild ride and we'll make sure your voice is heard around here! (Especially if you're an artist writing music that actually SAYS SOMETHING!) I'm answering some of your phone calls and playing a couple of really great tracks that actually have something to say about what's going on in this country. (Damn! I'm still thirsty for more music like this. Hell... that's why the show is called "WHERE'S the Voice"!)

A note from filmmaker Dean Love...

As you may know I am producing a documentary about "That Guitar Man from Central Park". I would like to ask all David's fans out there to write me and tell me any stories you may have about David and his playing in Central Park and how it has affected you or what it has meant to you. I've already heard some great stories, but I know there are more that I haven't heard. So if you got a story to tell about David and his music, please briefly write it out and send it to stories@thatguitarman.com . I will be contacting people from the stories submitted to interview them for possible inclusion in the film. Thank you and I look forward to seeing everyone on the hill this summer.
- Dean
