Hey... if you're new around here, welcome to the website.

Got a brand new show on the podcast "I Love the Company" and a pretty intense installment of "Where's the Voice" here today.

On ILTC I'm talking about the gigs I'm gonna be putting together at a new and undiscovered venue right here on the Upper Westside of Manhattan.

I mean, this building was originally a home for Civil War widows, built in 1861. It's a spectacular old building that's been renovated by a guy named Tim of H.I. New York. There are several great music rooms and an outdoor venue that can't be more perfectly suited to the kind of thing we like to do, sharing music and laughs.

. . .

THE FIRST CONCERT IS GONNA BE ON A SATURDAY NIGHT! (February 23 - 7:30)

I will let you know very, very soon how to get tickets, okay? Check back!!!

OH! By the way...

Before we get to the podcasts, I wanna share a few more entries sent into the website from listeners across the country for Ryan's "Between Your Legs" thang.

Jump in if you feel like it. All you hafta do is invent a new movie title by tagging the phrase "Between Your Legs" onto a title that already exist. (Some of the entries so far are really clever.)

Ryan started this... But, here are the newest ones. (Some people sent dozens of suggestions!)

Sharon: Kingdom of Heaven Between Your Legs.
Steve: The Iron Giant Between Your Legs
Tracey: Dirty Rotten Scoundrels Between Your Legs, 2 And A Half Men Between Your Legs, Mean Girls Between Your Legs

Niti: 4 Months, 3 Weeks, and 2 Days Between Your Legs, The Business of Being Born Between Your Legs, The Air I Breathe Between Your Legs, Still Life Between Your Legs, There Will Be Blood Between Your Legs, Atonement Between Your Legs, I Am Legend Between Your Legs, Sweet Charity Between Your Legs, Who Framed Roger Rabbit Between Your Legs

David: Some Like It Hot Between Your Legs, The Odd Couple Between Your Legs, Gentlemen Prefer Blondes Between Your Legs, On A Clear Day You Can See Forever Between Your Legs, An American Tale Between Your Legs, That Thing You Do Between Your Legs, While You Were Sleeping Between Your Legs, You've Got Mail Between Your Legs, When Harry Met Sally Between Your Legs, Better Off Dead Between Your Legs, Sudden Impact Between Your Legs

Go back to Friday's update to check out the originals. Go ahead and email me a title, or call it in to and leave a message for one of the podcasts.

Okay... ONTO THE PODCASTS!!!

First up, a brand new episode of "I Love the Company". Like I said, today I'll give you the news about the upcoming concerts.

Cool?

Here's episode number 356. I've said this often. This website and the podcasts are kind of an extension of what I do during the warm weather here in the greatest city on earth. In the summer I get to share my music with people from all across the country and all around the world just by being "That Guitar Man from Central Park". After you listen to the shows today use that phone number I gave you... just to day "Hi" and let us know who you are and where you are.

And on "Where's the Voice" I'm gonna be inviting you all to call in and voice YOUR opinions and feelings. We'll head into this election year with a few laughs and a couple of good doses of Truth and Reason. It's gonna be wild ride and we'll make sure your voice is heard around here! (Especially if you're an artist writing music that actually SAYS SOMETHING!)

So, let's start out with the original podcast... "I Love the Company" (Show #356)

Just click on the logo, plug in your headphones, jam in your earbuds or turn on your speakers and listen.(You can always subscribe to the show and get it automatically by hitting that itunes button over there.)

SHOW 356

Musical guest on today's show: I guy I've shared lots of stages with for a long long time, now... Karlus Trapp (Click on his photo to visit his website, find out more about him, where he's playing, and how to get his music.)

Okay, let's move on to this week's WTV. As always, on "Where's the Voice" I'm gonna be inviting you all to call in and voice YOUR opinions and feelings. Today, we're looking at the obliteration of the wall bewtween church and state by the conservative Christian right-wing of this country and shining a light on John McCain, Tony Perkins and the man I've started calling...

Blessed Mike of God

Mike Huckabee

Anyway, just click on the logo, plug in your headphones, jam in your earbuds or turn on your speakers and listen.(You can always subscribe to the show and get it automatically by hitting that itunes button over there.)

Okay, before I get outta here I've gotta give you the opportunity once again to really be a part of all this. It's the permit fund for 2008. Listen, the fact that I'm an independent artist who is broke a lot of the time is my choice, and I wouldn't trade places with another human being on the planet. (People sometimes use the term "struggling artist". But... I'M NOT STRUGGLING. Yeah, I'm financially poor. But I'm not "struggling". Struggling is a state of mind and an attitude.)

Me?

I'm havin' a blast!

So, it's no big deal either way. But, if you'd like the opportunity to help out with the expense of showing up in Central Park every weekend, and even act like a sponsor for the podcast you can just click on this link. So, this not only helps with the special Events Permits, but also with the Sound Device Permits from the NYPD. Just click on this link and donate whatever amount you're comfortable with.

See you really, really soon I hope.

Thanks for everything.

A note from filmmaker Dean Love...

As you may know I am producing a documentary about "That Guitar Man from Central Park". I would like to ask all David's fans out there to write me and tell me any stories you may have about David and his playing in Central Park and how it has affected you or what it has meant to you. I've already heard some great stories, but I know there are more that I haven't heard. So if you got a story to tell about David and his music, please briefly write it out and send it to stories@thatguitarman.com . I will be contacting people from the stories submitted to interview them for possible inclusion in the film. Thank you and I look forward to seeing everyone on the hill this summer.
