Welcome to the site today. I'm David... "That Guitar Man from Central Park".

Here it is again. I promised a whole bunch of people that I would record a song as soon as I got back to New York City. It's the John Wallowitch song of which I re-wrote the lyrics.

This Moment.

It's a rough-scratch recording... but it's such a beautiful song I wanted to make it a FREE download for you guys as soon as I could. (I also talk about it on the podcast today. (ILTC)

GOT A WHOLE LOTTA STUFF HERE ON THE SITE TODAY!!! (Sit back and have fun. Or, comeback in a while!)

Got a brand new installment of "Where's the Voice" today. And, I really wanna YOU to chime in on this show. (The phone number is further down the page.) But first...

This is kinda silly. Get all your friends in on it!

A colleague of mine... a fine actor I worked with briefly when I wrote some music for "The A Train Plays", a guy named Ryan Duncan... started this list. Jump in if you feel like it. All you hafta do is invent a new movie title by tagging the phrase "Between Your Legs" onto a title that already exist. (Some of the entries so far are really clever.)

Ryan started this...

Carl: Finding Nemo Between Your legs
Ryan: A Might Wind Between Your Legs
Amy: Bill and Ted's Excellent Adventure Between Your Legs
Damian: Mad Max Between Your Legs
Thatguitarman: Never Been Kissed Between Your Legs
David: Armageddon Between your legs
Andre: 300 Between Your Legs
Trace: Dirty Dancing Between Your Legs
Jordy: Midnight Express Between Your Legs
James: Shaft Between Your Legs
Joshua: Training Day Between Your Legs
Callie: Cruel Intentions Between Your Legs
Tom: Final Fantasy Between Your Legs
Garrett: The Abyss Between Your Legs
Scotty: Groundhog Day Between Your Legs
Samuel: SNATCH Between Your Legs
Cindy: Rush Hour Between Your Legs
Patrick: Gone with the Wind Between your legs
Lida: How to Lose a Guy in 10 Days Between Your Legs
Lachy: The Abyss Between Your Legs
Irene: Sixth Sense Between Your Legs
Lisa: Seven Between Your Legs hahahaaa
Liana: Bad Boys Between Your Legs
Alix: The Blob Between Your Legs
lizzy: The Breakfast club between ya legs
Phil.. The Ring Between Your Legs
Pete... Where Eagles Dare Between Your Legs
Adam: Dreamer: Harry Potter and the Sorcerer's Stone between your legs
Joe: Black Hawk Down Between Your Legs
Shonn: Angel's With Dirty Faces Between Your Legs;)
Jaan Heino Lutter: Golden Eye Between Your Legs
Lynn: Band of Brothers Between Your Legs

Go ahead and email me a title, or call it in to and leave a message for one of the podcasts.

Okay, before we get to the podcasts!

Here it is again... the permit fund for 2008. Listen, the fact that I'm an independent artist who is broke a lot of the time is my choice, and I wouldn't trade places with another human being on the planet. (People sometimes use the term "struggling artist". But... I'M NOT STRUGGLING. Yeah, I'm financially poor. But I'm not "struggling". Struggling is a state of mind and an attitude.)

Me?

I'm havin' a blast!

So, it's no big deal either way. But, if you'd like the opportunity to help out with the expense of showing up in Central Park every weekend, and even act like a sponsor for the podcast you can just click on this link. So, this not only helps with the special Events Permits, but also with the Sound Device Permits from the NYPD. Just click on this link and donate whatever amount you're comfortable with.

.

Okay... LET'S GET TO THE NEW PODCASTS.

First up... a new WTV. The subject of today's show is once again the obliteration of the wall between church and state in the minds of the Republican Conservative Christian Right Wing of this country.

Please... um... keep your god out of my government.

Today's guest:

Blessed Mike of God

.

And, this man who appeals to voters who have NO idea of the basic principles this country was founded upon is being backed up by another silly and dangerous man.... Tony Perkins. (Not really dangerous like, ooh, oooh scary man dangerous. It's just that people who think and feel about this country as Tony Perkins does are a threat to the very core of the possibility of a truly free and democratic nation I love.)

Anyway... here. Click on this logo to listen to the latest installment of "Where's the Voice". Plug in your headphones, jam in your earbuds or turn on your speakers and listen.(You can always subscribe to the show and get it automatically by hitting that itunes button over there.)

WTV-026

A note from filmmaker Dean Love...

As you may know I am producing a documentary about "That Guitar Man from Central Park". I would like to ask all David's fans out there to write me and tell me any stories you may have about David and his playing in Central Park and how it has affected you or what it has meant to you. I've already heard some great stories, but I know there are more that I haven't heard. So if you got a story to tell about David and his music, please briefly write it out and send it to stories@thatguitarman.com . I will be contacting people from the stories submitted to interview them for possible inclusion in the film. Thank you and I look forward to seeing everyone on the hill this summer.
- Dean
