I'VE GOT A TICKET UPDATE TODAY!!!

Woke up this morning like everybody else in this great town, to a dusting of snow.... the first snow of the season.

I hafta say, New York City, Central Park in the snow... gotta be among the most romantic places on the entire planet. Really gets you in a mood, y'know?

Anyway, it's a very different vibe than the warm summer days in Central Park when we get to hang with thousands of New Yorkers and people from all across the country and around the world.

Time to move what we do indoors for "THE something-th ANNUAL YEAR-END CONCERT".

Now listen... I'll be back tomorrow with another update about how many tickets are left for this gig on Monday night, December 17th. But, I checked the box office on Friday and the word was that there are 72 seats left! So, call a couple of friends and plan on getting your tickets today or early this week. The Theater in the JCC (West 76th @ Amsterdam Ave.) is a bit smaller than our venue for this yearly tradition.

(If, by some chance, you call and they tell you that the show is sold out, shoot me an email through this website. Maybe we can work something out, okay? We did something kinda special at Merkin Concert Hall when that show sold out!)

Or, don't take chances and get 'em right now.

Or if you'd rather get them from an actual human being, you can call the BOX OFFICE directly: 646-505-5708

We really do have a blast. If you've ever been to one of these things... you know.

Y'know what?

This thing is general admission! So, all the seats are the same price and if you feel like you're getting around to this a little late, it's cool. There isn't a bad seat in the house. And, even if you get your tickets today, the best seats will still go to the people who show up first. Y'know?

Just got a call from Jake Holmes and he said he thought it sounded like fun to be part of this gig, so he's gonna show up. That means he's gonna join me, and Dodger, and Cassie, and George... and YOU.

Okay... PODCAST TIME!

This is "The Weekend Show" on "I Love the Company". It's episode #348. I figure, the concert in 2 weeks is all about finishing up another lap around the Sun, so I'd play a couple of New Year kinda tracks. Just click on the logo, plug in your headphones, jam in your earbuds or turn on your speakers and listen.(You can always subscribe to the show and get it automatically by hitting that itunes button over there.)

SHOW 348

I REALLY WANNA HEAR FROM YOU!

Hey!

Thanks for showing up today. I know a lot of you check in here from different parts of the country and around the world. But, if you're in New York City, I really hope I get to see you at The JCC in about 2 weeks.

Wow! Somebody call Taylor Guitars. I'm a walking advertisement!

For that matter... somebody call Kudos Granola Bars, Duracell Batteries, Poland Spring Water and Bubble Yum!!!

Ha! Never mind... we're doin' it on our own for now!

It's just us!

Thanks again.

A note from filmmaker Dean Love...

As you may know I am producing a documentary about "That Guitar Man from Central Park". I would like to ask all David's fans out there to write me and tell me any stories you may have about David and his playing in Central Park and how it has affected you or what it has meant to you. I've already heard some great stories, but I know there are more that I haven't heard. So if you got a story to tell about David and his music, please briefly write it out and send it to stories@thatguitarman.com . I will be contacting people from the stories submitted to interview them for possible inclusion in the film. Thank you and I look forward to seeing everyone on the hill this summer.
