Welcome to the website. If you're new here... it's this website and the podcasts here that are kind of a winter-extension of what I do in Central Park when the weather is warm.

Now, we've got the "Year End Concert" comin' up this Monday night!

Hope I see you there. Man! We always have a good time at those things every year.

Y'know?

I have a very personal tradition. It's something that happens deep within me and in my heart right around this time every year. And, it happened last night. I call it...

...flippin' the sign.

That just means that a little switch gets flipped inside me and I stop worrying about anything for the rest of this year. (Well I'm not much of a worrier, anyway.) BUT NOW... it's all about kickin' back and having fun. Flip the sign. "I'm closed" to anything but fun and smiles. Whatever happens... happens. We're gonna hit the stage on Monday night, and essentially make it up as we go along like I do in Central Park. It's just gonna be whatever it is. (And, it always turns out cool.)

.

So... here we go. MONDAY NIGHT!

listen...

Here! Right now! Call the box office and try to grab tickets if there are any left.

THIS IS THE BOX OFFICE NUMBER!

(I'm thinkin' it's too late to get them online.)

But like I said yesterday... if you call and they say there are no more tickets left, email me right away by hitting the "Contact" button over there and tell me how many seats you need. I'm gonna see what I can do. I have an idea. I don't want you to miss out. After all, it's...

"THE something'th ANNUAL YEAR-END CONCERT"

In the Theater in the JCC corner of 76th St. & Amsterdam Ave.
Monday night - 7:30

.

A few of the people who are gonna join me on-stage?

Roger Bartlett - The original guitar player in Jimmy Buffet's Coral Reefer Band
George Wurzbach - composer of "Much Better View of the Moon" and one of the most brilliant and brain-damaged songwriters I've ever known.
Cassie Kubinski - Not much to say... beautiful, talented, hot, great voice, and a fine, fine songwriter.
Jake Holmes - Not even gonna tell you. (He's a surprise.)

Now, Pete Fornatale of WFUV is gonna be with us to introduce the night. Not only is Pete gonna introduce the show. But, he's also just written a really fun book about his personal experiences with Simon & Garfunkel. He'll have it at the show and be available to sign copies after the gig in the lobby. It's called Simon & Garfunkel's Bookends

.

.

A note from filmmaker Dean Love...

As you may know I am producing a documentary about "That Guitar Man from Central Park". I would like to ask all David's fans out there to write me and tell me any stories you may have about David and his playing in Central Park and how it has affected you or what it has meant to you. I've already heard some great stories, but I know there are more that I haven't heard. So if you got a story to tell about David and his music, please briefly write it out and send it to stories@thatguitarman.com . I will be contacting people from the stories submitted to interview them for possible inclusion in the film. Thank you and I look forward to seeing everyone on the hill this summer.
